I haven't been to this location and it obviously wasn't memorable enough for me to return in years.  I recall the $5 cover charge to watch UFC in a small type room with folding chairs.  I thought WTF are they kidding me?  Thankfully time has passed and watching UFC has also lost my interest.  I've gravitated more into the lovely ladies of hot oil wrestling.  I have yet to find a place that shows this on TV so I'm stuck so far on this love.  Oh well we can always try to give a place another chance to fix themselves.

I had my nephew and his spouse call me to come out and have a drink.  I thought hmm with so little other options on your social calendar.  I think I should probably entertain the offer since I don't get many others.  I arrived and the waitress informed me I was extremely lucky because the beer I ordered was on special.  I think the special was more like any big ass beer was around $6 bucks or so if it was on draft.  I drank a few beers knowing I had the 1st yelp running club 5k the next morning.  I'm not sure that was a great idea and it probably didn't help with me not making it on time.

After a few drinks I decide that dinner was a good idea and they had a late night menu of $7 food.  The menu wasn't overwhelming but the waitress seemed to tell me what she thought was great.  I decided on the chicken quesadillas with guacamole.  The size was pretty decent for the price and nothing particularly for bar food.  I can think of many better options but when none are near you.  I think it would seem like once again you are out of luck son.  The best part of the night was the monotone waitress who was just meh.  She was more concerned with chatting up a table next to us like she was telling them next song baby and I'll dance for you.  The only thing she was missing was glitter lotion, a personality and the list goes on.  Once I was done with my plate she dropped the damn food and plates all on my side near my foot and legs.  She asked if I was OK in a rather uninterested way and when I replied NO, she was kind enough to offer me a napkin.  WTF am I going to do with a napkin? I think I might need an MRI and your name so I can send you the bill.  Thanks, so much for nothing Amanda.  I don't think I will be back.

A few months ago, I would have given them four stars. They had an awesome draft beer selection (for real cheap on Tuesdays), and they had some of the best burgers I've had in a long time.

However, in the past few months they dropped many of the premium European beers from their draft list (such as Leffe and Franziskaner Dunkel Hefe-Weisse). On top of that, the quality of their burgers seemed to have gone down a bit.

Their 2 dollar Tuesdays is still a good deal. Just don't expect a decent selection of quality Premium beers.

Negative: The service was very slow.  The mediocre bar food was expensive.
Positive: The place was clean. During off-peak hours and days, they have good beer specials (on tap).

Overall, this place is is just plain. There is nothing special about it. The music and TVs are not loud so this is not a terrible place to have a conversation. The only way I would return would be with a 50% off coupon.

They are throwing a zombie party tonight! It's crazy awesome! And all the servers are so nice and flirty! Food is what you would expect... but who is going to a bar for food right?

Fox & Hounds are everywhere. I've been to them in Dallas, Lewisville, Richardson and New Jersey. Most all know the chain. The one in Lewisville has become a satellite home to the Eagles Nest Dallas, A Philadelphia Eagles fan club based here in the DFW area.  (<a href="/redir?url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.eaglesnestdallas.com&s=45aed8ff828f299490e1d587c43af8108a81983c2f97cdcae817af0510fdb911" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">http://www.eaglesnestdal…</a>)

The managers have given us a side room, provide us with a jersey to raffle off at the beginning of the season and food at every halftime plus beer specials. The staff is accomodating although when we get full they can get a little swamped. We have a new server this year and she wasn't quite ready for around 70 of us being there. They added more servers and things went better, so they adapted well.

As for the food, well, it's mostly bar type food and you can't go wrong with hot Bavarian pretzels or the turkey sandwich with a pretzel roll. The burgers are pretty decent as well.

Added bonus, as of October 1st, Lewisville goes NON SMOKING..... so the bar will have a more plesant atmosphere.

The pool tables are somewhat worn but usable however the service sucks.  We shot pool for a few hours last night and the only service we received almost no service from the waitstaff.  Once she came by and picked up an empty beer mug, without asking about a refill, and again when she brought over an order of pretzels.  We had to go to the bar for all of our drink orders and our one food order.

We've been to a few other Fox & Hound locations and service has always been excellent at the other locations.  This location is horrible for service.

    Typical American Sports bar atmosphere.

    Pro's:
    Pool Tables
    Cigar Smoking allowed
    Nice waitstaff
    Easygoing friendly clientele
    Large Beer Selection

    Cons:
Terrible food (microwaved, un-original menu, small portions)
    Weak mixed drinks
    Slow service
    Overpriced

I don't mind paying more for original and inventive food, but this place had neither. The atmosphere was nice on a Friday night - friendly people, nice waitresses; the drinks were weak and overpriced.

A decent place to shoot pool with buddies, but not a place I'd go regularly or on a date.

The Fox and Hound is a pretty decent chain to grab a beer, watch sports, play some pool/shuffle board/darts/trivia or just hang our with friends.  They have a menu of food that ranges from fried finger bar food to full entrees like pasta, pizza, salads, sandwiches. The food is pricey and nothing special but it is nice to have the option to order something to eat while you are drinking.

The best part about the fox and hound is the beer selection.  While it pales in comparison to places like the gingerman or the flying saucer, it's a pretty darn good offering for a Neighboorhood sports bar pub chain. Each location has one night a week where almost every beer on tap is priced at $2 a pint...aply named "Two Dollar Pint Night". This is the best night to go get your drink on for sure.  But please, for the love of god, do NOT waste $2 pint night on freaking bud, miller, coors, PBR, corona or any other beer that is already dirt cheap. Branch out people!  Try something new!  Ask your waitress for a sample of something before you commit to a pint...or better yet just man up, order something crazy and finish the pint even of you hate it. At least you tried it, and you can start to learn more about things you like and dislike in a beer and hone your beer taste and style preference.  GOOD Beer is amazing!  I love you!

My husband and I discovered that a geocaching event was being held here so we thought we'd try it out.  We had a lot of fun talking to others about our favorite hobby, but everyone had to shout because the atmosphere was so loud.  Music blaring, people shouting, party atmosphere?

The food was ok, but I had a chicken sandwich (and the chicken was a bit crisp in parts) and a glass of ice tea (free refills).  My husband had a beer.   So that's 1 meal and 2 drinks (1 alcoholic) for a grand total of 18.70 (with a 15% tip).

Waitresses did their best to keep our glasses filled and provided quick, friendly service.

I was dragged here by a group I attend and can say, thankfully, I will not return. Ugh... smoking? Plenty of people have ranted about that so I'll move on. Everything on their menu is a heart attack on a plate and the decor is terrible. I've been to some really nice FOX and HOUND... this isn't one of them. Nasty couches, the place is just dirty.

Smoking in a restaurant in 2010?!!!!

Are you kidding me? There wasn't even a non-smoking section that I could escape to. We were starving and it looked like a nice place that we kept passing on the highway, so after a long day at the tradeshow we stopped in. As soon as I walked in I could smell it, but the hostess said that it wouldn't be that bad and that there weren't that many people in there, so she sat us as far away from the T.V's as possible.

To even get in you have to fill out an annoying membership card because that's what the restaurant does to get around the fact it's a "dry" city. I don't understand how they can be strict about alcohol...but not public smoking.

I asked for a water with no lemon, of course it came with a lemon but I was already getting nausia from the smell anyway. After glancing at the menu and expecting English pub food at the self-proclaimed English pub...I discovered that it was the same burger/cheese sticks junk they sell at Chili's. They didn't even have fish and chips...some English pub, huh?

    I was like..."F-this! Let's go"

I know I shouldn't write a review for a restaurant that I didn't eat or drink at, but I think just the fact that I was starving when I looked at the menu and decided that there was nothing on the menu I found appetizing says something. Plus I hope that someone in Lewisville reads this and does something about the smoking in bars and restaurants there. It's not the first time I went into a place in Texas and was confronted with a restaurant that offeres no proper non-smoking section.

It's a lot of fun to chill and play pool, but I have resorted to bottled beer here because the mixed drinks are so weak.  One night my friends and I sat on the bar round after round and $80 each later we barely had a buzz.  The pool tables are nice and the atmosphere is great though.

I went for the UFC fight.

They charge a $5 cover.. and they start charging like at 7, so you cant really go early and get out of it.

I got a burger and sweet potato fries.  It was ok.  The burger was pretty tasty, but came with a pile of shredded lettuce - which I hate!  But, the burger was well seasoned and yummy.

Fries - not hot... not even warm.  Ok, flavor, but some warmth would have been nice. - all that was like $8.50.  I got 2 shiner drafts - another $8.50.

On the way out, they give you a coupon for $5 off your next visit - I guess to make up for having to pay cover... really, they should just give you $5 off your tab.

Im really not sure if I'll return here.  Maybe if a friend wanted to go, and I couldn't convince them to go anywhere else...

Meeting here for drinks and dinner made sense before watching a movie at Studio Movie Grill. No parking issues and actually, no crowd issues either. For a Thursday happy hour time, it was pretty dead.

Upon walking in, the hostess asked for my DL to scan. Sigh...semi dry (or semi wet, depending on your mood) areas!

Our server was nice enough but didn't know much about pricing. I dunno how "pub" like this place is. I mean...just because you have beer and can order fish and chips on the menu doesn't necessarily make you a pub. Whateve. The menu suggests beer parings for food via a number system.

I got the black forest sandwich which came on pretzel bread with bacon and turkey and an order of fries on the side. It was a little dry, but was preferable to being drenched in honey mustard. There wasn't really anything special to the sandwich except the bread. It had a nice chewy texture, but just seemed a tad dry. Typical of pretzels I suppose.
The fries were steak fry-ish with thick cuts and to me, they tasted really buttery.

Mixed drinks were a bit weak and were 4 at HH and 4.75 after. Meh. It isn't the most exciting place but if you are in need of a watering hole in the area, it could be worth the try.

I took a date here on Friday night to have a relaxing time with a few drinks and to play some pool.  On the up side, the pool tables are in really good shape and the sticks are pretty straight.  On the downside, the place is a little pricey.

We had roughly four rounds of beers, two shots and an order of nachos (that were huge, by the way), four hours of pool, and it came to just over $75.

We had a great time so I'm not put off by the price tag and I would probably go there again, though I might have to take someone else.  She kicked my ass on a couple of games.  heheheh

The best night to go to the Fox and Hound is on a Wednesday , which is Karokee Night. Even you don't sing this bar has a great atmosphere and some potent drinks.  - 1 for expensive ass potent drinks.

Great place to go to get hammered but that's about it.  It's smokey and full of Lewisville's finest, but the service can be choppy.  It's more of a regular kind of place.
