I concur with D.M.
This place is a young spot. I my self have been a legal drinker for less than 10years and I felt like i went back to my underage drinking days. The place was wide open and empty on a friday.
Dark, dirty, the wait staff can barely open a beer correctly.
I dont have too much to add as after seeing the crowd I took my beer in a plastic cup and left.
My friends had told me when I came in town we were going to the frat house I was already invisioning rude annoying guys and bimboish girl all barely 18 and horrible music. But thankfully I was just prejudging and completely wrong. It was a pretty fun place. Don't have to pay to park. A better area of new orleans so don't have to worry about your vehicle to much. No cover charge. Decent priced drinks. Awesome dj. Fun and friendly bar staff too.
Review Source:This place is large and has a great stage for music.
If you're between the ages of 18-21 then this is your place. If you prefer to be around a slightly more mature crowd, don't go to The Frat House.
The crowd there is your typical young college kid who can't yet enter a regular bar, so they gather at The Frat House. I don't know about everyone else, but I prefer to drink and listen to music with the 21+ crowd. There is something about the underage 'giggle squad' of girls that puts a damper on the place....
