I grew up on the Westside and anything here has a special place in my heart. I really want to love Ginza, but it has just really gone downhill. The food quality, the service, the hibachi "show" has all degraded. Sushi is alright but the hibachi grill entrees are all dry and the chefs are very dull which is awful when you take guests there for a special night out.

This is the only place in town that I've found that has oshinko rolls. I am a huge daikon enthusiast, so I went for it.
I am pregnant (but not really showing) and my husband is a perma-hungry skinny dude garbage disposal so we ordered what was admittedly an excessive amount of sushi, partially with intent. Roll size varies oddly from place to place, though, and I underestimated the size of their rolls.
So she hands me these three styrofoam takeout boxes (2 full and one half full of sushi) staring at them with wide eyes and asks me how many chopsticks I want. When I say two pairs, a really incredulous non-English dialogue follows. Come on now, that's not necessary.
