This will be the third JiTB I've visited in the Indianapolis area, having been to several in western states years ago. Â As a small chain, they often seem more of a curiosity than a fast food place.
I usually order a Junior Bacon Cheeseburger and 2 tacos. Â The locations on Post Road and U.S. 31 and County Line Road were really underwhelming. Â The food was satisfactory but barely warm. Â The Post Road location seemed to be running on chaos and no one seemed to care.
This location on west 38th was good. Â Maybe, it's just because they still have "we're new" feeling, but they're trying harder than the other two locations. Â My sandwich was almost hot--left-handed compliment, right? Â It was good and they were trying to do the right thing. Â The tacos I ate after the sandwich were also good, with plenty of lettuce. Â I can't say that they'll ever be as good to me as a Hardee's or Carl's Jr. with Red Burrito/Green Burrito but they're half the price.
If JiTB will get more of their stores to be like this one is now, they'll have too many customers. Â They could fix some of their California locations--it's not just a problem with Indiana locations.
