As far as China buffets go, this is the best in Indianapolis (in my humble opinion). The food is homemade, and they have plenty of authentic dishes. Â My favorite aspect of this restaurant is their Mongolian grill and the sushi. Â They provide a very healthy alternative to most other buffets. Â Of course, they have many other, more fattening options. Â Their General Tso's Chicken is the best I have ever had. Â I also have to say that the staff is great. Â They are quick on the drink refills and get to know their regular customers.
Review Source:This review is actually for the New Taste Buffet across the street. I had WTT once and was unimpressed. I also had an International Buffet at 465E and Washington where all the employees wore WTT aprons and it was just as bad. The New Taste is ok. The sushi is really good. I would almost rather have it than the high priced stuff I get out random Japanese joints. I mean the philly and Alaska rolls at new taste match these places. Tuna and cream cheese and salmon and cream cheese respective. The other food there is pretty mediocre. The sizzling chicken and broccoli from the chicken and broccoli are nearly the only thing I will eat. Crab Rangoon is ok. Fried rice is standard. They did add self serve ice cream in several flavors. Step up from the twist cone machine. I go here regularly but wish the majority of stuff there was better.
