This place is a blast from the past. Â I mean that in a good way. It has that old school diner feel, like it was set up back in the late 80's or early 90's and it froze there. Â
The place is spotless, very clean and very friendly. Â I have only been here for breakfast where they serve the typical breakfast items seen at any other breakfast diner. Â The food is nothing extravagantly special, but it also does not disappoint, it is very straight forward and simple. Â The prices are good, and again the staff very friendly.
The coffee stays warm, this goes with the place which has a cozy homey feel. Â I know the place is run by a small family and the same staff has been there for years. Â I like that there are some parking spaces in the back (by the fire station) and I can go in through the back door instead of trying to park on Archer. Â I won't lie, it always makes me feel like I am part of the "in" crowd or like I run the joint since not many people are aware of the back entrance. Â (well, now they will....)
Simple, easy, and to the point. Â If you are tired of Pindos, Huck Finn, New Archview, give this place a shot, it won't disappoint.
