Got the burger stuffed with cheddar and tots, honestly one of the best burgers I have ever had.
Went there on a Sunday evening and there was still a good crowd.
Staff was surprisingly friendly for a somewhat "in your face" type of place.
Would go back again for sure if I was ever in the area.
I was at Graffiti Junktion when they first opened. Â In fact this and Ravenous Pig are the two restaurants that I visited the first day they where open. Â
From the outside and well the inside the barstraunt has that divey I don't want to wake up next to anyone I meet here feel. Â For us regulars I can easily say that adds to the charm. Â I have now eaten everything on the menu and I can recommend a couple choice items.
Turkey Club - ok, stay with me here. Â This is the best turkey club I have ever had in my entire life. Â I am not kidding. Â They thick slice house roasted turkey breast, not sliced meat then add crisp bacon, lettuce and tomato. Â Amazing - add the Gouda to make it extra special. Â Also if you are paleo or on a diet. Â Ask for a Robert. Â Turkey club add gouda, no bread and no mayo. Â Then sub the fries (which is almost a sin) with Caesar salad dressing on the side or for the amazing fruit cup.
Burger - any of them. Â My top 5 burger in Orlando list. Â Similar to Oblivion but just a notch below.
Blackened Mahi - ok health nuts - giant piece of mahi on a bun with tomatoes, lettuce and a chipolte mayo served with fries. Â First - the mahi is huge and amazing. Â The dressing is great. Â Want to make it healthy - follow the same sides as above and skip the bread. Â The fish is huge and with the salad or fruit you will be full. Â
Fries - they are addicting. Â Like bad addicting. Â So good.
Beers rotate and the full bar is tended by some of the most talented staffs in town. Â Need a place to watch the game, hang out or just pass the time. Â This is the place.
To me, with all the burger joints that have opened up, Graffiti is still my favorite burger.
I have my burgers normally pretty plain and cooked medium and they always come out perfect.
Not to mention their fries are amazing.
Still #1 in my book! So glad they just opened in the East Orlando area!
Ordered a stuffed burger that was supposed to have jalapenos but instead had green peppers when I bit into it. The fries were nothing special. They don't skimp on the meat, but the items on the menu are still overpriced in my opinion. I went to their new location on Alafaya by UCF, and the ambiance is a pretty good match for a college town. I still think Hamburger Mary's downtown makes better burgers, though.
Review Source:I like this place because they have interesting burgers you won't find elsewhere. The zucchini fries are a really good appetizer, and also not found many places. It's a relaxed, casual environment with picnic tables, definitely not the place for an intimate evening. They have good happy hour specials. Last time I was there I got a hot dog for the first time (I usually get the Lonestar Burger with bacon and BBQ sauce). You can get any of the burger toppings on the hot dog, so I got creative and got sauteed onions and gouda cheese, it was delicious.
I have actually been here quite a few times (only recently started checking in on Yelp regularly) and most of the time I have received pretty good service, sometimes it was less than stellar. They have trivia on Thursdays and that is fun.
The first time I ever went to GJ there was a burger called the Italian (I think). It had diced tomatoes, like a bruschetta, basil, and mozarella. It... was... AMAZING. I devoured the entire thing, and that is rare for me. But ever since that first time it has disappeared from the menu. I asked if it could still be made, but I was told it couldn't I forget exactly why now. I miss that burger. Bring back the Italian! But I'm sure I'll return to GJ regardless.
Would rate it zero if I could
Was denied entry into dining room with service animal

It is not a requirement to have to provide registration or certification as proof.
We did explain this to manager as well as told him the service the animal provides (which is not a requirement either).
BAD form gf!!
I've been to this Graffiti Junktion a couple times now and overall I'm a fan. Â I especially like coming on Sundays for the $2 Mimosas and Bloody Mary's. Â That alone makes it worthwhile to check out IMHO. Â The atmosphere is fun...it's a good place to hang out and have some drinks. Â Be warned that it can get noisy in there, especially if football is on. Â The patio is nice on sunny days. Â Like most Thornton Park restaurants, doggies are welcome outside.
There food here is definitely bar food, so I wouldn't recommend it if you're in the mood for lighter/healthier fare. Â I've gotten the chili cheese fries twice and they are exactly what you would expect - a plate of greasy, cheesy yumminess. Â Should chili cheese fries be any other way? Â I've also had the Santa Fe burger (green chili, pepperjack and cheddar). Â It was really good - charred on the outside, juicy on the inside and seasoned well. Â At $12 though, it may be a bit overpriced. Â One of my favorite things is the turkey wrap (sliced turkey, brie cheese, apple slices, honey mustard, lettuce and tomato). Â Very tasty, and the turkey is actual chunks of breast meat as opposed to sliced deli meat.
Seems like other reviewers have had bad experiences with the service. Â Not sure if I'm just lucky, but I haven't had any problems when I've been.
Great burgers. That's it.
Food: Really good burgers. Fries are fresh, but not crispy at all. Very soggy, and I prefer crispy fries.
Atmosphere: Fun, edgy vibe. Great location in a fun neighborhood, but, very hot in the summer. "They have A/C" but not really... their main room is pretty much a tent. Zero insulation. Makes for a very uncomfortable meal. Usually pretty dirty there. You're lucky if your picnic table is wiped down. Oh, did I mention you eat at painted picnic tables? It seems kinda cool, but they're really uncomfortable. Nice for a free packed lunch in the park, not so nice when you are paying for the meal indoors.
Service: Not the friendliest staff. They are actually quite unpleasant. Â I wouldn't be friendly either if I had to work there. There other locations are a little better than this one.
I hate to leave a bad review here, but we had the worst service imaginable here. The only excuse I can come up with is that the server had a bad night, realized she blew her tip, and then gave up on us. Food was good, but it took about an hour and a half to get it. After our check was messed up, took another 40 minutes and a manager to get that straightened out. Decent vibe though. I still love Thornton Park.
Review Source:FUNK!!! This place has it....but not too much else
Burger and beer joint in Thornton Park. Covered in graffiti as the name suggests, you sit at picnic benches and it is extremely loud in here.
Good for a cold beer on a hot Sunday afternoon. They have TVs to watch football if it's that time of year and I've also seen Karaoke here as well.
The food is decent but in my opinion over priced for what you get. Honestly nothing stands out as spectacular to me and there are better options close by, see http://www.yelp.com/biz/…
DO: Give this place a chance if you're already close by, need a little funk in your life, and don't paying for pretty good food but only receiving mediocre
DON"T: Believe them when they say they are the "Best Burger In Orlando"
NO STARS!!!
I went here based on the yelp reviews and it was Absolutely the most horrible dinning experience I've ever had. The best thing I had at this place was the beer. The beef looks like old frozen ground beef. There were 5 people in my group. 2 people's food was wrong, 1 person couldn't stop throwing up and 1 person got diarrhea.
I built my own burger because there were lots of options and I was really excited. I asked for a medium burger with some additional items. I got a well done burger with half my toppings missing! When I told the manager the burger was over cooked he argued with me that my burger, that didn't have the faintest hint of pink was medium. The same thing happened to someone else in our party so we ended up with no food.
We also ordered some of there nachos for an appetizer - took 3 attempts for our server to get it right. Once we did get it. The beef was dry and the salsa tasted like the store bought salsa that was left out of the fridge too long. The tomatoes tasted horrible and old Â
The service We had to place our order almost 3 times. She got our bill wrong. She was rude and unknowledged. I'm not sure if she was new or just having a bad day but either way we got horrible service. All in all I will NEVER go back and wouldn't suggest this place to my worst enemy.
I love this place because of their amazing turkey burgers. Being a non-red meat eating gal, it's hard for me to find a good alternative, especially in this town. AND they have a huge selection of toppings for burgers like smoked gouda, veggie chili, grilled peppers, etc. So good!
The service there is iffy at best. I had a great waitress tonight, but I've also been and had terrible service on more than one occassion.
Bonus: ZUCCHINI FRIES!!!!
If I could give zero stars I would. Â We ate there once during a busy weekend. Food was ok. Standard bar fare. Â What is just awful about this place is the horrendous attitude and service.
First time visiting we constantly waited for beer, food came at different times, forgetful waiter who had to be asked several times for basics like silverware...
Second and LAST visit. Waited for 10 minute outdoors for a server. Was completely dead while every other business was booming. . I walked in and bartender was busy having casual conversation with some bar hag. He finally acknowledges me and I ask if there is service outside. He says 'yes, there is a big sign out there that says so.' He said this in a very belittling tone and told me to wait outside for a server.
He could of been like 'hey what do you want to drink and I'll have it sent out' or let me get your waitress.' Instead, he was too busy talking to old Leatherface and told me to wait outside.
So to the lazy red headed, bespeckled, male bartender, you cost your establishment a lot of business. I love to eat and drink and will glady spend money somewhere with service. I will only speak poorly of this dump to all my friends. Â You shouldn't be lazy and unaccommodating. You are in the SERVICE industry.
I was expecting more, to be honest, as I've heard great things about their burgers.
The service was quick and polite, though not totally friendly. The vibe seemed to change when waters were ordered instead of beers. Not unusual, but still somewhat disappointing.
The food was good, but not great. I got the Santa Fe burger and my fiance got the Turkey Graffito. We ordered zucchini fries to split, which I think was a mistake. They tasted alright, and the dipping sauce was good, but the order was itsy bitsy. I mean, it was tiny with a lowercase t. For the side with my burger I got zucchini fries, since I figured they were going to be good and that I'd want more. I was correct, I did want more, but the side order was the same size as the $5 appetizer portion we got.
They're getting 3 stars from me because the burger meat itself was very tasty (the toppings were a bit bland, surprisingly). I don't know if I want to go back though, so it's probably more like a 2.5 overall.
Love this place for some Sunday funday drinks. Although they are apparently known for great burgers, I've only had their mahi wrap and the fish is always great. I usually order a side salad and it is always crispy and fresh. Their fries are hand cut and perfectly seasoned. Highly recommend their mahi wrap!
Every time I've been there, there is always a crowd and the ambiance is great for a get together with friends. Their $3 mimosas and bloody mary's are great and the bartenders are very friendly. Highly recommend this place for Sunday funday!
I had my first Graffiti Junktion experience the other day, and I wasn't disappointed!
When we first arrived, things were a bit rocky. It was the middle of a weekend afternoon, and the rock music inside was blasting. Blasting so much that it was hard to hear my mom, who I was with. We talked to the server about this, but we basically had to move outside to a picnic bench in order to have a real conversation. Which, in this heat, was not exactly fun. But that was where the negative part ended.
We ordered zucchini fries as an appetizer, which are crunchy strips of zucchini with a remoulade-type dipping sauce on the side. For lunch we each had grilled chicken sandwiches. The chicken was good, clearly marinated with some herbs and quite tasty. But after eating it, I got the feeling that burgers are where it's at here. Next time i'll be ordering one for sure! Definitely a fun place to eat and the service was attentive.
You really can't miss out on Graffiti Junction. Driving pass almost any time I'm in Thorton Park there's always a crowd outside, loud music and of course, the vibrant colors of graffiti giving each wall, table and chair its own unique personality.
The servers are nice but every time I've gone, they've been on the slow side no matter how chill the crowd is. But regardless of the wait, you're for sure going to get entertainment from either the flat screens playing sports, or the crowd as they become more inebriated. (Sometimes, I can't decide which is more fun to watch!) ;]
Their Fog City burger brought great promises of something very Cali that I truly missed: A turkey patty with creamy avocado, earthy sprouts, garden tomatoes and lettuce smooshed in a wheat bun. Not a bad burger, but not great. I think for me, the turkey patty was over seasoned and I couldn't enjoy the layers of flavors that my toppings promised.
The Taco Salad was decent, but again, the over seasoned turkey meat quickly hid all of the other flavors I had hoped to enjoy.
Now the fries...every burger's companion, whether it's regular French fries or their zucchini fries, they don't disappoint!! My fries were just the right amount of crunch and tenderness and balanced with special seasonings. We all fought to keep each other off of our plates so we didn't miss out.
Aside from the over seasoned turkey, I love the prices of their buckets of beer, and the quality of the ingredients of the food they used. The French fries and zucchini fries are calling me back to try their beef burgers, so I'll be stopping back soon. :]
Two stars only because I know the burgers are delish.
Should have one star, told the bartender we were sitting outside, he responded with "no problem I'll send a server right out to you. " Proceeded to sit outside and wait and wait and wait. Got up to get my own menu figuring we will just be ready to order when the server decided to come greet us. Figured out what we wanted but no one decided to take our order, decided on sitting at the bar so we could at least order. Well that was unsuccessful, there were 2 bartenders and 6 guests at the bar. One bartender talked to two girls while the other ignored us. Once bartender number 2 finished his convo he proceeded to walk right past us and begin doing something else. Let 2 more minutes go by. Needless to say we left. Irritated.
I know this place can be awesome, someone needs service industry 101.
This is the first, G1 in Thornton Park, East side artistic freedom meets all american patties of beef, gloriously concocted with creative special sauce. My name is Skacey, I carry dive bar street cred.
4:23 pm. Saturday. My partner and I start our weekend bender at Grafiti Junktion. This tagged up burger bar is tucked in the beautify trendy Thornton Park neighborhood. True to its name, every surface has been kissed by Krylon. Creativity also extends to artwork from local talent hanging around the walls.
The tap beers venture beyond the college level panty loostener with a few domestic micros like Kona and Red Hook. The cocktails are also well made especially if you stick to the basics. Finally, the food...
Since we were oiling up for a long night we only started with the Chili Chez Fries. They came on a dinner plate sized basket with enough for two or three. The flavor was fantastic.
We've been here several times and always found the patrons to be friendly, with a great party vibe. You might overhear a game of quarters (i know, old skool right?), or if you are on the patio, get to meet some great dogs (pets welcome) come later, and it gets even more fun!
This place is alright. Their happy hour is for drinks only since their are no food specials. I had their green mountain burger and the chicken quesadillas. On the menu it says the best burgers in town, but their chicken quesadillas were actually better. The green mountain burger did have a fried egg in it and also Canadian bacon...a fried egg makes everything better.
I know some people would be turned off by the hippyish decor and wooden benches but it's catered to a specific atmosphere and crowd. I did not like the live band though they butched the Zombie song by the Crannberrys. They did pass out FREE pulled pork sliders and the service we had was pretty good.
Overall the place is ok. It's not a place I would think off when I am craving a burgers, but if a buddy of mine asked me to meet up there for a drink I wouldn't mind.
We were driving from the east to the west coast and wanted to find an interesting and casual meal in Orlando. Yelp to the rescue!
Finding it was easy. There are large artsy guitars outside a well lit, funky establishment. Parking was a bit of challenge in the neighborhood. Happy to report, no ticket even though we stayed a few hours...
The place is a casual, semi-well-constructed, college-bar-like establishment. I'd call it a dive but it's definitely on the unique side of dives. It comes complete with loud music, a full bar complete with both plastic cups and martini glasses, picnic tables, multi-colored lights, and HD TV's.
We selected the one empty table, and explored the menu. Fried zucchini with a tasty horseradish sauce was a definite hit. The wings were large, not overcooked, and enjoyable but not even close to hot. There is a wide selection of interesting burgers. After much debate, we went with Fog City and Green Mountain. Both hit the spot but honestly, it's too much food...
While we were deciding what to order, a gentleman offered us a game sheet and then went to a microphone up front, to begin a trivia game. A little fun competition always makes a meal interesting. Little did we know, we are trivia aficionados, immediately knowing the answers to the ten questions! But, unfortunately for us, this was the last round of a multi-round deal. So, we'll return some day to attempt to win this trivia game for real.
It was a fun and successful stop for dinner!
It's a bit ironic that I waited patiently for the College Park Junktion to open, yet it turned out my first visit was to Thornton Park. Â I sat myself outside on a Black Friday overcast afternoon. Â All was well, except for an occasional waft of offensive odors from a nearby dumpster. Â
I may have arrived too early, but it looked as if Thornton Park's Black Friday was somewhat of a bust. Â This wasn't the Thornton Park I'm accustomed to on Sundays. Â I had no trouble at all finding a parking spot on the street.
The music was passable, except for one Hootie and the Blowfish misfortune. Â I would have preferred some Neil and Dylan, but that's just me.
My server was a hipster sort of a guy, so I tried to be hip back. Â I'm nothing but a nerd, so why I keep trying that, I don't know. Â I'm more likely to have a hip replacement than to ever be hip again. Â Still the service was friendly and efficient. Â I felt right at home.
The fried zucchini with horseradish was good enough for a return visit. Â YUMMO! Â NOM NOM NOM!!
My hipster waiter recommended the Green Mountain burger with Canadian Bacon, fried egg and cheese, pickle, lettuce and who knows what else. Â This mutha was loaded, but was an excellent choice. Â On my first bite, the yolk from the fried egg splurted all over my wrist and my watch. Â I had to clean up a little bit after that.
It was all good though. Â I could only eat half of the burger, but my canine inhaled the rest of it. Â One of the best burger joints in town? Â On my first visit, I say it's a contender.
I love this place, I really do. Â Why? Â The Fog City burger. Â Although, some may argue it's not a legit burger because it's bereft of beef, it's my personal favorite burger in Orlando. Â It's got all the fixings of your San Francisco style sandwich. Â Thick turkey burger, Pepper Jack, creamy avocado, Alfalfa sprouts and tomato. Â The way the turkey and avocado melt together lifts you into a SAVORY AND CREAMY state of Nirvana. Â It sets me off everytime. Â Not to mention the Pepper Jack teases your palatte with hints of spice .. my mouth is watering just thinking about it!
I'm not sure I'd go as far to say that their Specialty Burgers are the best in town, but they're certainly way up there. Â Each one of their burgers represent a city of the United States (Chicago, Philadelphia, San Fran, Detroit, etc.) Â Or, you can build your own burger masterpiece by choosing your favorite ingredients listed in the menu. Â I don't know what it is about their fries, but they're one of the best I've had in Orlando. Â They're crunchy, but not too crunchy, and they're seasoned to perfection.
I've also had their 12 piece Grafitti Chicken Wings and was impressed beyond my expectation. Â The wings were big and MEATY.. no sissy wings here. Â It would be nice if you could choose mild, medium or hot sauce but their default "Nick's Special Sauce" is juuuust right. Â Goldilocks would be proud. Â For the more healthy conscious, their salads are superb and plentiful. Â You may want to share your salad with someone because they're that generous. Â The Salmon Salad is my personal favorite.
I do like their weekly themed nights such as Team Trivia and their live Art Exhibitions. Â Billiards and video games in the back are a nice touch. Â They have a full bar and table servers who are efficient and very personable. Â The walls and furniture are all shellacked with vibrant grafitti and the crowd is equally as loud. Â This is a sport fan hot spot so don't be afraid if you're greeted by an obnoxious rumpus at times. Â
Thank you Grafitti Junction for complimenting my life with The Fog City!
Graffiti Junktion is one of my go-to spots in Orlando whether it's their Friday night buffet, Sunday afternoon bloody marys, or Wednesday night unlimited wine I have yet to have a bad time at this bar.
It's nestled into the Thorton Park area and is probably a place you've passed a few times but never stopped in. The look of this bar is pretty much if you took a cement building from a park, benches and all, and transplanted it here amongst the cobblestones. Walking in there's colorful graffiti all over the gray walls and art pieces you can purchase. During the day junktion is mostly lit by sunlight coming in from lots of open windows and doors, which is a great change from most dimly lit "I can barely read the menu" watering holes.
I had some great company for my visits but if you need something to keep you a little more entertained there's tons of tvs for football games on Saturdays and Sundays. Monday is trivia night, Saturday is the dating game (I have yet to see this but I hear it's phenomenally fun), and Sunday is rockband and karaoke. Also if you're tired of spending a lot on drinks, take a seat on Wednesday for unlimited wine, $10!! I prefer this much more than standing in the wine line for twenty bucks at Urban Flats.
As for the food, most of the portions are pretty hefty (especially the salads and the nachos), snag a friend to share with. The burgers are great, not the best in Orlando as they boast, but I've already had 2 and I'll be back for more. The fries, nachos and corndogs are pretty tasty as well.
I definitely recommend this place for a relaxed good time, day or night, and if you need a food sharer, I have a recommendation for that too ;)
I wanted to give this place a second chance after hearing so many great things about it and having such a dismal experience my first time.
Well some things stayed true to form... 1) the staff here is very friendly and accommodating, 2) the drinking can be very affordable, case in point $10 for a bucket of 6 cans of bud light, 3) if it rains head inside... and 4) if you want a burger worthy of a $12 price tag go elsewhere!!
Now the big test for me was when I reordered a hamburger. Â Now my last review was truthful, as hard as it was to really rip into them for the terrible food quality, however this time they somewhat saved themselves. Â I ordered a burger with fries and it was cooked to order this time. Â The burger was juicy and the fires were crispy. Â My complaint at this point was that although the burger was cooked properly, it really lacked any flavor at all. Â I was just very bland. Â I mean for $12 at least throw on some Lawry's Season Salt if you can"t season your ground beef any better than this!
So my conclusion... if you want a fun place to hang out and get your drink on then go to the GJ. If you are going specifically for a great hamburger I suggest a place like Johny's Fillin' Station instead.
Graffiti is good at everything except that which they claim to be great at! Â Go elsewhere for a burger and don't make a $12 mistake here,
Not too sure I love this place yet. I have been multiple times and I just can't make up my mind. Â I obviously dig it a little if I keep going back right?
I guess the thing that mainly throws me off of this place is the burgers. Â They are supposed to be known as the "best burger in town" and I just don't see why. Â Last time I ordered a burger there and asked for it medium-well, it came out well and really had zero taste to it. And the fries were having an off day too. Â However, their potato skins and quesadillas, YES PLEASE! The potato skins don't mess around, they are huge potatoes cut in half... I would suggest asking for extra cheese though cause they are huge! Â And the quesadillas are delicious, so much flavor =)
The crowd is iffy. Â Some nights it's just loud and obnoxious and other nights it's loud and fun! They have nights where local vendors come and set up outside which is dope. You can see artists painting live and chat with them. Â Nice touch!
I am also upset because they used to have cider... not anymore =( boooooo! bring back the cider =)
I recently stopped by Graffiti Junktion for a burger. Â First, let me say that the wagyu burger was incredible and the zucchini fries were a nice change from the everyday french fries.
The staff was very welcoming and the food arrived piping hot. Â The decor has a counter culture vibe to it and atmosphere is very laid back. You will find a wind variety of people in there. Â During my visit there were a couple of detectives, some businessmen wearing suits, and some that fit more of the counter culture look.
All in all, a great experience. Â I would highly recommend if you are into eating great burgers and just kicking back.
Super burgers, superb service and a hip atmosphere combine for the perfect burger experience. We stopped by one Thursday afternoon just as happy hour was starting at 4pm. At first I was worried that the glorified shed that is the dining area would be cold but it was nice and toasty this chilly February day. Seat yourself at either the bar, high top table, picnic table or one of the regular chaired tables. There are plenty of TVs, "graffiti" and "junk" to look at while you wait.
Our heavily pierced and tattooed server was just the right amount of attentiveness without hovering. He was friendly, professional and the food came out quickly. We had the zucchini fries ($5) for an app which were crispy and fried with a panko-type batter. They were sprinkled with parmesan cheese and served with a horseradish sauce and were excellent!
I ordered the Chi-town burger ($12) which is stuffed with mushrooms and blue cheese. It was so good I had eaten half of it before I realized there wasn't any blue cheese. When I asked our server about it he apologized and quickly had it taken off our bill. The hubby ordered the Iron City burger ($12) which was massive and was layered with ham, egg, fries, cheese and onions. The accompanying fries are cut on site and are seasoned deliciousness. We cleaned our plates and were absolutely, wonderfully stuffed.
The only downside to the restaurant is the lack of parking. Located in the heart of Thorton park is quaint but a mess for parking. There is no lot for the restaurant, only street parking. Good luck with that! Park in the wrong spot and expect your vehicle to be towed when you get back, but don't let that stop you from trying one of the best burgers in town.
Still 5 stars cause I still love these burgers, but I just wanted to throw in an update since I think this place has improved quite a bit. The service has been much steadier, I think they beefed up their staff a bit, and the food is still good.
Good bar, TVs around, and it's getting pretty packed on the weekends now. I haven't had a burger here I didn't like, although my favorite might be the Chicago stuffed with mushrooms and blue cheese. Also don't miss the massive nachos that come out on a PIZZA PAN!
What else can I say about this place? THEY ARE WHO WE THOUGHT THEY WERE! An American burger bar. Geez, guess I've been eating too many of those Chi-town burgers. (Please, somebody get that joke...)
I am not the sportsbar kinda guy! - that is, until I ran into this place. Incredibly cool, and lots of fun for a sports bar. I usually hang out at trendy lounges, and this was the best daytime hangout I can think of in Orlando on any given Sunday afternoon.
Lots of fun, and beautiful ladies, and pretty cool guys to just let loose and have a great time!
The food was really, good! I say that surprisingly!!! It was not your typical grease, crappy burgers, and murder fries and crap you would find at hooters! I monitor what I eat, and this place did not dissapoint!
Our waitress, was very attentive, and always checking up on us every 10 mins! A+
So, I finally braved the crowd here to grab a sandwich and a beer today. I'll save the negative for now as the food seems to be really good if my chicken sandwich is any indication of the rest of the menu. I'll be back to try a burger and the nachos too eventually but I'll be getting them to go more than likely.
Here's why...I grabbed a seat at the bar so as to not take away any tables from the server since I knew I wasn't sticking around this time. This left me in the realm of one of the least attentive "bartenders" I've ever run across. Guess she doesn't need the tips and her conversation was way more important than my business. Lucky for me her bar-back grabbed my order or I was about a tick away from walking out. Â Whatever blondie, you sure were there to take the check and cash me out though huh?
Looks like they get a pretty big crowd in here at night and I'd hate to be a neighbor but whenever I walk by it seems like everyone is having a great time. Love the local artist support too. The place has plenty of good scenery.
That's all I got.
Food here seems pretty good.
Service?
Not so much.
Really tasty burger and great fries. The menu is a bit small, but that's not always a bad thing. Look at In n' Out Burger in Cali. They have like 6 things on their menu and they're world famous!
I like the funky atmosphere, though it's a bit scripted. I say let some street walkin' mutha fuckers come in there and do some REAL graffiti! The staff is kind and welcoming. Say hi to Holly and Victoria.
Props for being full liquor and having a well ventilated casual dining spot in the suburban heart of downtown. It's a nice addition to the yuppie Thornton Park area where popped collars and teacup dogs reign supreme. I'd like to see this place last a while...
p.s. the music was total 90's alt rock. I'd like to see more variation, so I don't feel like I'm at Lollapoloozalaoza '96.
