For space and room to dine and sit with family it is not bad. I wish they had a better fountain drink selection. The coffee was very cold and tasteless.
When the casino first opened the food there used to be very good.
Occasionally you will get a good creme' brulee for dessert. But, mostly the dessert cakes are very dry and poorly made.

As for the food , everytime I have eaten there I have become sick with stomach flu. I feel its something to do with the food quality there.

The only thing I can say is the pizza is fairly decent, otherwise the food is fair. I know they tried things with having cutesy tiny iron pots with pot pie, lasagna and casseroles and it was cute.

I do not see the value in dining here.

I LOVE THE BOAT!!!!! Grand Vic wooooo!!

So maybe it's slightly nostalgic for me, my family used to go for the crab legs and my grandpa taught me how to crack the crab legs and all that jazz and I still think about it every time I go....and usually now I'm the one that has to teach whoever I'm with. I have a pretty legit technique.

Obviously I only go on Friday's for the crab legs. Why else would you pay like $26 or $28 dollars? I always start off with having like two plates of crab legs and then move on to the other food.

Gotta get a rare piece of the prime rib...delish. Not to mention there's everything else under the sun. Some fried rice, an eggroll, pizza, pastas....I know I'm forgetting a ton of stuff.

Then it's time for dessert. Cakes, mousse, bread puddings, fruit. I always have to have some ice cream and a cappuccino to finish it all off.

If I'm not dying because I've ate too much....maybe we'll go into the boat and play some roulette, but lets face it I go to eat!

The food is great ! Especialy the prime rib .I've been here a hand full of times and the only thing that disapointed me was the ice cream. It's really weird and not enjoyable by any stretch of the imagination. That's why I just had extra prime rib instead mmmmmmm:-)

Went twice for the AYCE Crab Legs on Friday night. The crab legs were good both times. There's also a nice variety of food if you don't like crab legs but I wouldn't pay $30 for it. Depending on what time you get there the wait can be kind of long. The first time we went after 9 and the wait was about 10 minutes. The second time we went during dinner time and it was a much longer wait. For a buffett it's pretty decent. The only bad thing was that the soft serve ice cream isn't soft. The machine setting is too high so the ice cream comes out frozen. If I ever am back in the area I'd like to try one of the other specialty nights.

    Restaurant Review
Woah what happen here? I have been coming to Grand Victoria for at least 10+ years and my most recent visit was quite a disappointment. Our family came for touted crab leg and prime rib Friday night seafood buffet. I was exciting all week long waiting to come for dinner (27.99). Let me give you a recap on my food.
Fresh oyster on the shell- appeared fresh, good w/ cocktail sauce
Baked fish- lacking in flavor, ran out and was replaced by hot wings during dinner
Prime rib- grade A with Au Ju. The meat itself is cooked perfectly with flavor. You can't go wrong with a side of mash potatoes
Crab legs- F- grade. I only grabbed one plate of 3 legs and the meat itself was terrible, stuck to the inside and mushy. This is likely dead crab legs that were not fresh. Lacking in taste and excessively salty. Luckily they have someone serve the crab legs now so there is no long line
Pasta station- A travesty to pasta. Clearly the chef was not trying. The mac and cheese had 2 different types of pasta (shells and twist pasta) no cheese flavor at all. Chicken alfredo was swimming in oil and had no taste of alfredo. Pesto pasta was about the same. Whoever is making the pasta should be fired!
Clam chowder soup- quite delectable with ample amounts of clams
Pizza- this is one highlight at grand victoria as the pizza has a healthy amount of cheese, albeit quite oily
Sushi- I had a couple of salmon rolls. Nothing special, the seaweed wrap was especially crunchy. Not sure what that means
Guacamole and ?????- They had a salsa and guacamole station with no chips. What in the world are you suppose to use the guacamole for? It was never refilled during my 2 hour dinner
Dessert- another big thumbs down. They must have scaled back the dessert from before. There use to be a wide selection of pies and bakery items. There is now yogurt in a tall cup with some fruit at the bottom, pumpkin pie, various moouse and cake that just taste like sugar. The chocolate fountain is a highlight but all they have now are marshmallows, sticks of cantaloupe/honey dew (where is the strawberry), and rice crispy (this is good!)
Coffee- the nestle espresso/capuccino/mocha maker dispenses only 1/2 a cup now. also the setting are off as the drinks are bitter and not well balanced
Ice cream- blah low fat soft serve that taste like frozen sorbet

There are various other foods I did not try i.e. flat iron steak, fried shrimp, the whole asian station. Just not appealing.

Waiters quickly clean the table. Be sure to get there early if you want to avoid the long time

Pro- Prime rib A+++, chocolate covered rice crispy, wide selection of average food

Con- expensive, long lines, the quality of the food has gone down significantly

Hidden deal- If you are a gambler, you can get the VIP membership and earn points toward free dinner and you also get a discount on your dinner price

Wed for 2 whole Lobsters and Fridays for the crab legs.  Even better if you have time to win your meal ;)

Came here for lobster night and it is delicious. You can't buy 2 lobsters for $30 with a buffet let alone two lobsters. Sometimes it busy, sometimes it not. Lines can be short for the lobsters, sometimes no lines. They give you two tickets for the lobsters.

The rest of the buffet for Wednesday isn't bad also. Typcial items such as Asian, Italian station.

I went here Friday night for dinner with friends lured in by the crab legs they have at the buffet on Fridays only.

I am allergic to shellfish, so for me, this buffet just was not a good value. I paid $30.16 for food that isn't as good as Old Country Buffet.

I was expecting tons of choices and tons of great food for such an expensive price tag but un uh. First you wait in a long line to get in, I mean 30 minutes in line to start off with was cray-zay. The people cleaning the tables were great though, really on top of the mounds and mounds of plates my friends and I created.

I was excited when I saw they had sushi on the menu since I couldn't eat the shellfish. They only had sushi rolls and bad sushi rolls at that. The fish was so rubbery and the most unfresh I've ever had. The seaweed was old and rubbery too. Totally gross. So then I ventured to the Chinese station, the sesame chicken was very good! The sweet and sour pork was disgusting though, way overcooked, all burned on the inside and out...just gross. I also tried the mac and cheese which was awesome! So...I got seconds of the mac and cheese & sesame chicken, definitely didn't get my moneys worth here! If you're eating the crab legs though, I'm sure you can make out pretty well.

I ended my meal with some fruit (how can you go wrong there!?) and a sugar free chocolate dessert which I liked a lot.

All in all, no way in the world would I come back for this buffet! Next time I come to the boat, I'll probably hit up Prime for a better and cheaper meal!

    Crab legs!

I'll keep this simple. It's all about the crab legs. Simple as that.

It's a good buffet in the suburbs...better than most place there with good variety. But what carries this place is the all you can eat crab legs. That right there is worth three stars alone. The rest of the food is ok. I actually came away surprised with the pasta - they weren't bad! I usually pray when having buffet pasta but it was pretty good here. The place is clean for a buffet and the service was timely when it came to clearing plates off the table. I found it funny that the utensils weren't always complete...like I was either missing a spoon or a fork. So I had to get it from another table or ask for them.

I am not usually a fan of buffets because they tend to serve low quality "yesterday's special" food, but this is one of the FEW exceptions.  The SEAFOOD EXTRAVAGANZA BUFFET held only on Friday nights is an absolute MUST for seafood and meat lovers! Where else can you get ALL-YOU-CAN-EAT savory prime rib drizzled wi/ au jous, and giant freshly caught juicy crab legs for $24.99? Heck, it costs that much to get 1 piece of crab leg at other fancy restaurants.  And those are only 2 of the many delicious items they serve. The best part is they constantly refill it so there is NEVER a shortage.
It is a sight to see little kids carrying a stack of crab legs piled so high that it even covers their head!  Don't feel bad getting your stack as well because just about every table was feasting in crab leg glory.  This is a feast fit for a king!
Their mouth-watering rare perfectly seasoned prime rib is my absolute favorite!  It has the right amount of fat, a delectable coating of spices, and they give you a thick, generous cut.  I've tried the prime rib at other places, and nothing compares to this.
The best way to finish off this feast is their giant chocolate fondue fountain.  You pick your choices of fruit, marshmallows, rice crispy treats, and coat over and over with as much rich chocolate as you want.  Wait for the chocolate to harden, (although I usually can't wait b/c it is too tempting) and then bite into your wonderful chocolate creation.  By then, you are regretting how much you stuffed yourself that you're thinking of skipping your next 5 meals and running a marathon to burn of all those calories... aye!

hello crab legs!  Family favorite on Friday nights for the all you eat crab legs.  The family comes here so much that the aunties bring their own metal crackers for the crab legs. :)

Crab legs are good quality, steamed just right.  Sometimes, you don't even need the butter, but what the heck...this is a buffet and crab legs wouldn't taste right without them!!!

The line gets super long as the night goes on.  We usually get here fairly early, about 5 pm,  and are seated right away. We are out on the casino floor by 730.

Good deal for big groups of people

A good meal. The tri tip roast was cooked medium rare and was very juicy. Meat at a buffet can tend to dry out but this item was not. There dessert area has enough space to feature more items but they don't. All in all a good experience at Grand Victoria. 1 extra star for winning a little bit of money and getting the buffet comped!

This is the best buffet I swear. It has the best crab legs, me and my brother go and wipe them out I swear. I agree with Neil R , the crab  meat is so thick and I put alot of butter on mine and lemon. The pizza there is also delicous, my mom loves it. My other bro goes for the oriental food and its pretty tastey. I also enjoy the nachos that I make over there, soo good and the nice thick  ham steak with gravy and mashed potatoes are to die for. I love the array of dessert and fruits they have too, they always look so fresh. The price is not that bad for a buffet and they have a great variety of all cuisines. It has a very  nice atmosphere too.

This is no Vegas buffet but it will do.  Fairly decent size buffet and on Friday night they have all you can eat Crab legs!  Out of all the crab leg buffets, this one is #1 around the area.  Why?  The crab legs are not soggy and you can easily break them and pull out a nice thick piece of crab meat to dip into your choice of sauce.  This time i decided on butter but other times I use lemon juice with pepper.  I thought the prime rib was decent for a buffet.  Of course you cannot ask for it to be medium rare or rare but it was ok.  I stay away from salads at buffets.

The desserts are ok.  Key Lime Pie was decent but since I just came from South Florida where it originated from, it was nothing spectacular.  The bread pudding is yummy when you throw chocolate fudge with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.

Would I go again?  Yes as long as i still have an iron stomach that can handle it.
