Great food, great drinks, tacky atmosphere. Â If you can overlook the decor you will get a great meal, great service, and great margaritas. Â Defiantly have the salsa lady make you some fresh salsa and order the carne asada, to the reviewer who ordered a hamburger and fries, I'd recommend this Irish joint down the street I believe it's called McDonald's, dumbass.
Review Source:Came by this past Friday around 9:00 pm for dinner. Staff is awesome, very attentive, smiling, only complaint- waitress had only eaten one dish on the menu. So it being our first time, we needed some feedback. We ordered two drinks- both well made. Plus with the chips and very fresh Pico de Gallo, we continued to have a great time. Then we decided on what to order. We felt it was EXPENSIVE. Of course I am not expecting this to be an El Faros or an EL Comales but I also didn't expect three tacos de al Carbon to cost me about $14, so I didn't order those. I continued to look and I decided on the special: a chile relleno for $9. It was one cheese chile relleno with a side of rice and beans. It was very good, but it was the only choice I had under $13.00. Don't get me wrong, I would come again and share the parillada (which my cousin suggested, it is $22), but the price point is higher than I expected. At least $2-4 higher than it should be from a marketing standpoint. If I could've given it 3.5 stars I would've but its not a four for me because I am really not a fan yet. Either way, I suggest it, just be ready to spend some dough (masa).
