On Friday nights, this is for me one of the top three fish fry locations in Elgin. The lot is a little hard to access, but you get used to it. There's quite the family crowd happening there. I love the German American gemuetlichkeit of the bar and the vitality of the scene. The fish is not bad either, I think there was haddock, perch and catfish with skinny fries.
