The pizza here certainly isn't the best I've ever had, but it's still pretty good. I know they're famous for their garlic knots, but I feel like their just regular garlic bread sticks that happened to be shaped differently. I love that they are extra buttery and garlicy, though.
The best part about Greek's is the atmosphere. The downstairs section looks like a restaurant straight out of an 80s film. It's easily enough to keep me coming back and I hope they never, ever change it.
Ya know, the thing about this place is, it's just pizza. Â I have yet to think anything better than OK.
If I'm in Valpo and want pizza, I'd 100% of the time, rather go to Tony's Place (about 4 blocks away).
Decent pizza. Â Amazing garlic knots (but really, how hard is it to make that?) and a bit overpriced.
We have lived in Valpo for years and always wanted to stop at Greeks pizza and kept forgetting about it every time we we're in the mood for pizza. Tonight we finally remembered and boy are we glad. The knots
(bread sticks) were delicious and the chicken florentine pizza was amazing. Service was good, fast and a very clean restaurant.
Garilc knots - pizza dough made into litte knots and slathered with butter and salted - most delicious. Â I have only eaten here once believe it or not - but it was so memorable. Â The pizza is fantastic. Â We never think about it because we're on the other side of town - glad I just read this - Friday is pizza night here.
Review Source:We order the calabriese pizza every dang time. Salami, artichoke hearts, fresh tomatoes, black and green olives. Capers. Am I talking your language here? If you like these kinds of things, you will think this is the best pizza EVER. We do. Homemade crust and fresh ingredients are soo much better than the pizza chains. It's pricey, yes, but worth it, and we like supporting local businesses, too. We usually get it to go, as it's not the best ambience and there can be loud groups (as in, birthday parties) and we like eating pizza on our couch better.
Don't forget the side of garlic knots!
