Guitar Center Inc the

I don't know what the deal is with the employees here.

I have been here twice in the last month, and I am ignored while waiting at the counter trying to purchase something on the shelf behind it.  (This is at the audio equipment section, not the guitar section of the store)

Both times, I have waited patiently for the employee to finish up with the person they are helping, then they leave and never come back.  

I left empty handed both times and don't think i will be returning.

Okay, so Guitar Center Joliet. Bought a $350 Epiphone Hummingbird here recently and they were very good on following up with numerous phone calls. This Mel or Meihl or something. Anyway this girl was an angel and VERY helpful which counteracts with my other experiences with GC employees who I often find to be a bit snooty. Seriously, I have met a couple pretty famous musicians in my time and they were better than this! But this Mel she was great. I'll give it three because it's an instrument store and you can walk in an get a Tele '52 reissue or basically any famous guitar without having to order.
