Souvlaki, Falaffel, Gyro done proper! Â Made with love and served exactly like I was at my Greek friend's house. Â Each sandwich or platter comes loaded and fresh to order. Â The sandwiches come dressed perfectly and are thick! Â Good prices. Â They got a great gyro lunch special. Â Souvlaki was tender and tasty and hot! Â He stuffed french fries inside my souvlaki sandwich and I admired that lil touch of love. Â It reminded me of the Rutgers Grease Trucks style sandwiches. Â My wifes falaffel platter came with a nice pilaf rice and a fresh greek salad. Â Small tiny place in Emerson right on Kinderkamack Rd. Â Right next to Laurel Chinese (really good chinese btw.) Â There are not a lot of good "Gyro Spots" around that don't rip u off. Â This is all you need for a nice, quick, fresh to order Greek Food fix!
Review Source:I don't know what thes other reviewers are talking about but this place is solid greek food. Â The gyro's are awesome and their hand-cut french fries have a great flavor. Â To the reviewer who complained about the 'collossal gyro' having french fries IN it: you should look at the menu before you order something because you received EXACTLY what you ordered. Â Price is right on point for a greek spot so that's not really an issue for me. Â I have this place deliver about once/week and they never let me down. Â Try it - you won't be disappointed.
Review Source:Ordered a falafel sandwich and onion rings - NOT including a soda, the price came to $15.95. Â While I was excited to see a falafel place pop up in Northern Bergen County; it is certainly not worth a return visit. Â For $9.95, the falafel sandwich was mostly shredded cabbage and tomatoes. Â The falafel balls were very very very tiny and there were only a few on the sandwich. Â The tzatziki sauce they use makes the entire sandwich taste bland...compared to other delicious falafel places (It's a Pita in Fair Lawn or The Village in Paterson's Center City Mall)...I would NOT recommend Gyro Spot and Grill. Â I will never return.
