Possibly the worst dining experience I've ever had. Horrible dried out chicken, lousy service and overpriced beer. Who pays $8.00 for a Corona? Top it off with a bar view of the dirtiest kitchen ever,.lucky I didn't get salmonella.

Personally I have found that establishments such as Hooters, Quaker Steak & Lube and Buffalo Wild Wings always seem to deliver the freshest cooked meals if you as a customer are sitting at the bar.  I guess this is because the food delivery isn't dependent on a less attentive waiter/waitress that may leave your feed sitting at the counter getting cold, while you wonder why the long wait.  Just speaking from experience.  In any case this Hooters isn't the best but it's not the worst.  Each visit I've made the staff were always friendly.  Since I always sit at the bar, my wings are always delivered fresh.  I watch them being cooked and enjoy them right away.  The fired pickles are nice, but the order can really feed 2 or more.  A lot of pickle slices for just one.  Another recommendation I would have in addition to the wings (which by the way are better naked than breaded) is the Buffalo Chicken sandwich.  Tasty as well.  If you are a frequent Hooters customer, this is just another Hooters.  Not the greatest and not the worst. A good choice for some decent bar food.

Hooters' getting picky. I usually get the 20 piece and have them half naked and half breaded with two different flavors. But I guess I can no longer get them like that any more. They have to be all naked or all breaded. I usually have a mediocre experience at Hooters anyways. I will not be going back now. I can always find chicken wings elsewhere.

I'm too old for the noise and ambiance of Hooter's but I can't get enough of their buffalo shrimp - the Garlic Parmesan ones. So I usually select take out. They always open all of the boxes to show me the order when I pick up which I think is outstanding. Last night I caught a whiff of the shrimp and my mouth watered all the way home. Whether you enjoy the restaurant or not (and that is a personal choice), you can't beat those shrimp!

This might be a strange thing for a girl to say, but I really enjoy Hooters. USUALLY. This location left a lot to be desired.

We visited about 2pm on a Monday. The restaurant was not very busy, but they still seemed understaffed. I swear I only saw about 3 waitresses the entire time we were there, and it's an average-for-Hooters sized restaurant. None of the girls were exactly Calendar Girls either, if I can say that without sounding catty. I mean, none of us has control over what we're born with, but I don't usually walk out of a Hooters thinking, "Man, I could make bank working there!"

I was with a table full of guys so our waitress was happy to stand around and chat. She was friendly, for sure. Unfortunately she stayed away from my end of the table and I didn't pay, so I couldn't score her name off the receipt or a nametag, so I can't give her props. She got our drinks out quickly.

The food, not so much. I know how long chicken wings take to cook, and even with a large-ish group (7), 30 minutes is too long to wait for appetizers and chicken wings. I ordered the same thing I always get at Hooters, buffalo shrimp and potato soup, and the shrimp were great but the soup was INCREDIBLY salty, and I am a salt-loving girl, but I could barely finish it.
They also mixed up a couple of the guys' orders, maybe they need a better way to differentiate a plate of "medium" wings from a plate of "hot" wings so that people are sure to get the flavor they actually ordered.

I actually feel mean leaving two stars on this review. I'd prefer to leave 2.5 or even 2.75 stars, because the service wasn't that bad, but I have to go with a 2 rather than a 3 because the food just wasn't up to par.

Smith-Mart went to Hooters, for a quick bite, during the NFL Divisional weekend.  We ordered the standard fare, wings, onion rings, and a couple drinks.  Overall, the quality of the food left more to be desired...even for a Hooters. (Bland meat, delivered luke warm).  Though most all of the Hooters are the same, I would recommend visiting the Hampton, VA location instead.

Food was ok, I came in from out of town to visit family that thought it would be funny to take my 75 year old grandpa there. Knowing the reputation of hooters there are to be attractive women, good service, and great food. Everything was just the opposite except the good food part. We were greeted by a kind hostess after we sat we were approached by our not so pretty and not so nice waitress Sarah. It seemed as if we were the biggest worry of the day even as we asked nicely for extra ranch. To be treated like that was horrible, I in fact feel sorry for anybody that has her as a waitress she ruined our whole expiereince!

Terrible. Came during lunch and the food was not up to par.  The waitress told me my dish would come with fries when it did not.  They had some  sort of buffet going on which looked like something you'd find and your local church get together. I think they believe they can over price their food for the chance to ogle some heavily make-upped girl in flesh colored leggings.  I for one will make it a point not to spend good money at a place that hands you sticky menus.

Not all Hooters' Wings are created equal, because this place just does not live up to the hype. I have gotten the wings here before; 911, Samurai, and Regular Buffalo Sauce.  We ordered them for carry out and picked them up about ten minutes after we placed our call. Once we got back to the house we made plates of wings, but they just did not live up to the 'Hooters Wings Reputation'. The 911 were pretty much way too hot for me and the regular wings were soggy and fatty. I did like the flavor of the Samurai wings but they were a little on the soggy side as well.  I will not return to the Newport News Hooters for wings anytime soon.

Most of my Hooters reviews are written for a lunchtime visit.  This visit I was there about 7pm on a Tuesday night.  This franchised location has an "all you can eat" wing special on Tuesdays, so the restaurant was incredibly busy.
I didn't get the wing special, I got my usual buffalo chicken sandwich, which was a larger than usual chicken breast. Even though my Hooters Girl was busy with many tables, she made time for quick but pleasant chat.
It's no secret that the lovely Hooters Girls are a draw to all that eat at this restaurant chain.  These girls were hard working and good at interacting with the customers, even being as busy as they were.  Having said that, I don't think you'll be seeing any of this staff in Hooters Magazines or the Hooters Calendar.  Some of them were noticeably out of shape.

Hmm what can I say about Hooters..

    PROS:
-Pretty cute chicks in tank tops and orange short shorts.
    -Free PPV (UFC)
    -Buffalo shrimp
-Military friendly: 25% discount for being Company of the month

    CONS:
-Pregnant chicks in tank tops and orange short shorts.
-Crowded as hell on PPV event nights (I once waited almost an hr and a half)
    -Buffalo shrimp
-The 25% discount cannot be applied towards alcohol

The buffalo shrimp is a hit or miss. The waitresses are friendly. Overall, this place is decent.
