It has been well over 15 years since I have been in a Hooters. Â I think of mostly young guys going in there drinking beer and watching the girls.... In the meantime, I heard about their Hot Wings and I wanted to give it a try, Â AND I glad I did....
The place is nice and clean and of course I had NO problem in finding a seat as it was 2:30pm. Â There were plenty of flat screen all around with many different sports to watch... Â Many guys were in there having lunch, and I was in there wanting to try the Hot Wings. Â So when my Waitress came over, I could tell... it was going to be difficult to keep my eye on the Menu. For this Senior Guy, I was delighted to have some nice, "Eye Candy" early in the Afternoon. Â If you know what I mean.... lol
I looked at the Menu and I saw Deep Fried Pickle slices, and of course I just had to have an order.... I decided I would have both the pickles and wings. Â Pickles first... Â When the pickles came out, they were perfectly cooked and they had a really nice flavor. Plus Hooters give you a lot for your money... Â I had the Chipolte Ranch Dressing for dipping and I just could not seem to get enough. Â
When my server came over, she told me the 911 Wings were the Hottest and not many can eat the 911. Â So, I asked if I could have the 911, beyond Nuclear Explosion. Â She looked at me like I was NUTS... which I am, however I know from the past.... 911 is not usually HOT. Â I asked her to please explain to the Chef what I wanted. Â She quickly came back to tell me I would be in for a nice surprise. Â
When the Wings came out. Â I could SMELL the HEAT! and I am not talking Temperature Hot... Â I had the Cool Ranch Dressing. The first thing I noticed, was the size of the Wings. Â They are huge and plump. Â I realized, I had ordered too many since I had just eaten the pickles... Â So, she stood by to watch me take my first bite so she could report it to the Chef. Â She was amazed with the amount of Sweat coming off of my forehead, however these were REAL HOT Wings, and the way I like them... Plus, lots of meat on those bones.... Â
I am giving it 5 Stars for excellent Service; Fixed the Wings the way I requested & the Pickles were beyond Excellent. The Manager came over to thank me for coming in and making sure all was fine. Â Great Service, as I felt like I was KING in Hooters. Â Plus the Young Girls looked really nice. Â Even for this Old F*rt... I was enjoying myself watching the Girls. Â The Hot Wings were EXCELLENT and I cannot wait to go back... Â Thanks Hooters for a great Restaurant Experience.... Â :-)) Â Check out the photos I posted....
Hooters is an a-okay kind of restaurant. Some friends and I went for lunch on a Wednesday, and took advantage of "Wing Wednesday;" 10 Boneless Wings tossed with your choice of sauce, served with fries, for only $6.99. This was a pretty good deal, and the food was great for a chain restaurant.
Review Source:Five months after I last came here, I stopped in for lunch.
I was immediately seated and my Hooters Girl came over, sat down, and had a little conversation with me. Â I was impressed as my previous visits the Hooters Girls didn't do that. Â However as soon as she took my order, conversation was done, and she returned to the front door for chat with the other Hooters Girls.
Food was good. Â I ordered the Speedway chicken Sandwich. Â Nice flavor, good sized sandwich.
The facility is old, and really needs a facelift. Â many of the photos have been on the wall for over a decade, some neon signage has not worked in some time.
This franchise simply doesn't promote the "specialness" of the Hooters Girl interaction with the customers. Â I notice it not just at my table, but with every customer in the place. Â They do minimal interaction, which is available at any restaurant. Â It is not a good representative of the Hooters restaurant chain.
