Houlihan's

Stopped in for happy hour before a wedding. Nice ambience, our waitress was punctual, and the beer was cold. Not much to write home or complain about. I'd like to return to try the food next time.

Originating from Kansas City this place gives you a good selection of BBQ and Kansas City brewed beers. I love the fish tacos and the flat breads.

Started with an x-rated martini. Tasty.

Got an order of the chipotle chicken nachos. Okay...nothing too exciting.

He got a bowl of tortilla soup. Good flavor, but absolutely no spice.

He also got the chicken street tacos. Basically, it's like fajitas with more fixings and smaller tortillas. He liked them...lots of onions and good guacamole.

I got the French dip with cheddar added. It was good...I mean, it wasn't the most exciting thing, but the bread was good and the flavor was good.

We'd probably try all new dishes next time. We weren't unhappy, but there's room for something better.
