House of Tokyo

Went to House of Tokyo with my boyfriend for dinner last Saturday. We had a <a href="/redir?url=http%3A%2F%2Frestaurant.com&s=c5fe485af4df376130bee54f875814d79c4d7913e1258123b1206d2bdbf4873b" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">http://restaurant.com</a> coupon so decided to give House of Tokyo a try. What I have found with <a href="/redir?url=http%3A%2F%2Frestaurant.com&s=c5fe485af4df376130bee54f875814d79c4d7913e1258123b1206d2bdbf4873b" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">http://restaurant.com</a> coupons is you get three types of places, The new guy in town trying to get people to try his place, The old old restaurant with new owners and the old restaurant that isn't getting much business. This must be option 3 the old restaurant that isn't getting any business. It is very obvious why after eating here.  Our waiter was a complete moron. Think Wayne's world reject and you have this guy. When my boyfriend asked him about red bean ice cream (a traditional Japanese dessert) he looked at him with a dumb stair and had no clue what he was talking about. For dinner I had the Steak and Shrimp with Fried rice. The salad and soup here were both very good that came with it. I would say they are on par with other Hibachi restaurants in the area. The surprise came though when my dinner came. Could they spare the steak? There were maybe five small bites. To make things worse my steak was way overcooked. I ordered it medium it came out charcoal. The Shrimp was even worse completely over cooked and tasted like rubber. By far the worst Hibachi I have had.

Sushi: House salad is great. Chefs were quick on made to orders. Maki rolls had a good variety. The Halloween is the spiciest. Any shrimp roll was lacking shrimp.

Tasty bargain sushi! And a groupon to boot! The service was attentive and dinner was yummy. The sushi selection wasn't wildly inventive, but solid. I will be back!
