Hu Ke Lau Restaurant

Disgusting!!!!  Odor upon entering, carpeting that looked like it had not been cleaned in 30 years....ceiling all stained and mold!! We were not surprised that we were the only people in there at dinner time..word must have gotten out!!!!  The food was certainly not what we had remembered...should really close down and start over!!

You need to understand the Huke for what it is - a mediocre Chinese restaurant in a small town with 2 other very good Chinese restaurants (Li Brothers and Iron Chef)...What the Hu Ke Lau provides is a decent restaurant with great drinks and good dinner/lunch combos.

But lets be serious.  You dont go there for the food, you go for the scorpion bowls, cheap beers and Zombies.

And to Jonathan W., it didnt say "rice included" so why did you assume rice was included? Thats not a knock on the Huke, thats a knock on you.

Also houses pretty much one of the only bars in Longmeadow (Rinaldi's has one as well).  I'm not changing my review, as Hu Ke Lau is still what it always has been (Greasy Spoon Polynesian food), but that needed to be said.
