I come here about once every week or so. The food is ok -- service is actually very quick. Sometimes, the line can be long but I never seem to wait more than 5 minutes.
I only get the vegan/falafel platter so I can't speak to anything else they serve. The falafel is ok -- sometimes, it's cold, which is a big no-no in my book. The pita bread can be cold -- and hard. Another big no-no. But in terms of the flavors, good enough, I suppose. Be careful to ask them not to douse your food in sauce because they seem to have a tendency to do that.
The portions are huge. They are quite generous with their salads, sauces and accoutrements. So good place to go if you're hungry. They have the biggest selection of (suspicious) sauces I have seen at a Mediterranean lunch place in the Loop. I only get the tahini - which can be a bit watery at times.
They also have sweet potatoe falafel which is quite delicious! Sometimes a bit greasier than necessary.
When the food is hot, delicious. When they avoid lathering my food in goopy sauce, delicious. Service always fast. Try the sweet potato falafel.
I go to this place once a month or so for lunch.
Pros:
There chicken is fantastic.
Inexpensive compared to many lunch places
Cons:
Need more drink options. (No Lemonade, mostly all pop)
Sometimes skimpy on the amount of meat, and if you want more, it cost $2.50
Overall though, its delicious.
