I love Infield's because under normal circumstances it's a great place to ditch the menfolk from out of town whilst having a marathon Macy's adventure with the women. If given a choice, I would never set foot in Macy's on a Saturday in December, but in this busy season it was the only chance I had to see my boyfriend's family. Our waiter was dismissive at best. Aware that I was joining them late and experienced in being in a restaurant, I asked him what the fastest easiest thing was for him to make. His response? "We're REALLY backed up right now so anything is going to take a long time." So I ordered a basket of fries thinking that it should be an easy thing to grab when the rest of the food came out. The rest of the food arrived. No fries. He checked on our drinks. No Fries. We asked him about the fries. Fries arrived moments later. 20 minutes after I asked for them.
Now, I don't entirely blame the waiter, I'm guessing that the place lacks manangement, or the leadership of a manager, because they seemed overwhelmed by a lot. They ran out of large glasses and told my boyfriend that  they'd bring him another short beer, which they never did...and charged him for the large size.
Certainly being that busy on the Saturdays before Christmas isn't new to them.
All in all, I would rather grab food from their food court.
Took a group of 8 here for lunch on a Monday.....I thought it was pizza buffet day (only on Th and Fridays) and arrived around 12:30. Â Place was pretty empty and they sat us at a table by the bar.
Chuck took really good care of the group, and did a nice job managing to keep everyone happy (and drinks refilled). Â We let him know we only had 45 minutes and the food was out in time.
I had the burger and it was not very good, fries were worse. Â
The general consensus from the group was = MARGINAL.
Maybe it was the wrong day, but I would stop in for a beer (bar is nice) but not the food.
