Upon walking into the Tokyo lunch box, the sushi chef always greets me and hands me a free sample of a sushi roll. Â I've never met a free sushi roll I did not like!
The food here is good, healthy, and affordable. For less than $6, I can get an avocado roll and miso soup. Â It doesnt sound very filling, but it is. And its delicious.
Service here is very fast and friendly.
The worst part of eating here can be the occassional homeless person walking in and asking for money or walking up to you to say random things. Â Of course, this isn't the restaurant's fault.
This is one of my favorite lunch places. Â The food is consistently fresh. Â The dragon roll is my favorite. Â They also have great bowls with sashimi and teryaki.
It's not usually very crowded, and if you ask for something to be made special, they're glad to do it quickly. Â You can eat there, but the place isn't that big, so there may not be room.
Their Udong Special is SUPER tasty! Â If you're by the river, just walk a couple more blocks for better Udon. Â
The space is a little tight and escpecially if you go during lunch rush. Â I recommend getting your food to go or come when the lunch rush is over so you can enjoy your meal.
