Fontano's Subs

I was annoyed that they moved since they'd been just across the street from work, but wow is this new location nice.  It's about five times as big so no more standing up against the door in line and there's a lot more table space to dine in.  Everything looks pristine, it's just a great place.  I hardly mind having to walk a couple blocks now considering the improvement.  The added space also means more workers putting things together so the wait for an order is noticeably shorter.

The new pasta bowl is very good, especially with a huge meatball added.  They have Italian sandwiches far superior to the junk at chain places like Subway.  I especially like the Blockbuster, as well as their Italian beef with cheese and peppers plus they add marinara for free if you ask.  I like that their sandwiches come in so many sizes so I don't have to worry about overeating.  A six-inch holds me over until dinner just fine since they don't skimp on the meat.  They have chocolate chip cookies for just 50 cents each and they're fantastic if you warm them a bit.  The brownies are huge and far better than you'd expect for $1.75

This place is tied with My Thai for my favorite lunch spot in the area.
