  It's sad that this place has become so bad. This used to be the best afterhours club in Dallas. Now there isn't even a line to get in. There were less than 100 people, and only 2-3 girls. Couple that with the rude, racist staff, and I can see why nobody goes here anymore.

  I hadn't been to an after hours club in probably a decade. But we were out and having a great time and before we knew it, it was 3:30am and we weren't ready to go home. The easy answer was Insomnia. Its just about everything I expected. Crazy people doing crazy things, blow-pop's for sale in the bathroom etc etc. But the vibe sucked, the place was PACKED and the music left A LOT to be desired.
  
  People watching was pretty good, girls dressed in nearly nothing everywhere, doing all kinds of odd things.
  
  For the people reviewing this as a strip club you've got the wrong place. The strip club closes at 4am. This is a review for what the STRIP CLUB becomes after the Club House closes.

  Ive been to my share of strip clubs. Some are fantastic, the establishments are great, the music is where it needs to be, the girls look top notch, and after a few years they'll be able to pay cash for 4 years of college and then medical school. Unfortunately, this is not one of these places.
  
  This place was decent sized, 2 levels with the balcony over looking the bottom floor, and i really liked the concept of bringing your own booze to the club since we cant do that here in California, but thats about where the good news stops.
  
  Theres one main stage, and 2 side stages. The main stage was big, one brass pole...fine. The 2 side stages were small but had a fun jungle gym setup for the girls to hang from their toes or legs or whatever they wanted.
  
  The Music...too loud. I understand Pantera own the club, but Jesus Christ, my ears were ringing forever.
  
  The girls: Well I'll be nice..or try to be nice. Most of the girls were unattractive, small chested and had teeth that resembled a cheese grater. Not too cute. There were a few (maybe 3) that looked great, but for the most part, there wasn't enough booze on the top floor for me to fork out cash to have one of these girls rub up on my junk. I'll pass. My friends and i also noticed that these girls had some weird butt obsession and constantly bent over and shoved the guys faces into their ass crack. WTF is that about??! If i wanted to smell ass, I'd fart.
  
  So all in all, not a good place to go to. I didn't give a dime to any of these girls. Sorry girls, I guess you'll have to pay for your own tuition next semester.

  This place is great.  Probably the best strip club in Dallas, well besides the Kings Lounge (see my review).  This place is open all night I believe if I'm not mistakened.  It's like $20 to get in and it's BYOB.  The Girls are totally nude.  And the chicks are actually human looking not like some places in Dallas.  Always a good time.  The guys from Pantera used to own some portion of this club.  They were always hanging out there.  I used to see them everywhere.  The Clubhouse, Chicken Express, The Stars games.  Anyways.  MY friend Mathias' brother's wife's father is the owner...how do you like that relationship?  You should check it out if you're in the area...you won't be let down.

  Not that great. Music is usually the same trance/breaks....I prefer House and yes there is a BIG difference. The crowd is way too young and I just feel strange everytime I go in there....maybe its because I'm old.

  Insomnia used to be the place to go when you had just left the club on a Saturday night at 3-4 in the morning and couldn't quite shake off the dancing jitterbug. Since it's major and only competitor Eden had opened up, Insomnia has lost all of its appeal as far as after hours clubs go. It did first have the novelty of being held a strip club (which is what Eden is as well) and the novelty of opening from 4am-8am on a Sunday but since it's new rivalry came on the scene a lot of that appeal has since vanished.
  
  I wish I could say something positive about the experience at Insomnia since I had been going there for such a long time, they play good trance music from time to time, but DJ Andy Szontagh has also had his share of blunders there as well. Insomnia is still the only place to date where I have seen a not-so-hot tall lanky and very much out of his mind white guy threaten security guards by stripping down completely nude and swinging what his momma gave him in their general direction. It worked. They didn't try to apprehend him for a good five minutes.
