Intimo is one of my go to date spots in the burbs. It has a trendy, lounge setting, and there's usually never a wait for a table. They have tons of martinis, literally something for everyone. The best part is that they show which brand of alcohol they use in the drink, and they don't overcharge for premium spirits. The best martinis I've had are the prickly pear and the almond joy. Most of the others were just okay, some of them are a little too sweet for my liking.

They offer a few appetizers, but don't waste the money, the cheese plate was a joke with cubed cheese and crackers. Also, they seriously need to update their seasonal martinis list. Just because it feels like december, doesn't mean it still is.

Keep piling them in. 2 bar tenders, 1 waitress = no service. We got our initial drinks. Then waited for another one. After that I figured if we ever wanted to get out of this place, I would have to go get the check myself. When I went to the bar, the bar tender had her boy friend standing there getting his drinks for free and annoying the customers for bothering his date? Then she proceeded to sniff the caps of three martini shakers that she just made because he confused her with his dashing good looks. Ack! Sorry that I am so old and I don't belong in this twenty something bar, and all I want to do is complain. But us dinosaurs actually have cash and I did leave a 12 dollar tip on 48 bucks of misery. She asked if I wanted change? I asked if she was a Democrat?

First visit was just for a quick drink and I was driving so I just had a beer. My mom (we ended her 60th bday celebration here) ordered a cosmo and loved it! My boyfriend ordered the dirty girl scout and still talks about it to this day. He's a sucker for sweets, as am I.

Second visit was for drinks with my girlfriend, we spent a few hours here. The drinks are all delicious and filled to the rim! The downfall of this visit was getting my martini spilled all over me when the waitress shook it up table-side. I was drenched in Pomegranate martini. The waitress apologized profusely, my drink was comped, and the bar owner offered to pay for any dry cleaning. My only complaint? The waitress kept taking away the towel, so I couldn't finish drying up as much as possible from my seat.

The "club" side of this place is not my cup of tea, so I stick with the martini bar.

A friend and I went on a crowded Saturday night and didn't expect to have so many delish martinis. We sipped and guzzled the following: French, Lemon, Washington Apple and Swedish.

The tini's were bursting with flavor and the service was prompt. The atmosphere was more like a loud lounge, a bit small for my taste but if I'm ever in South 'burbs again--I'll go back.

On the eve of our wedding, our nearest and dearest gathered here for martinis and good times. Nice list of martinis, no where near what we enjoy in Portland, they need to add house infused vodkas, the drinks come out smoother and just tastier. Fresh is always better. But for my Last single night, in the Chicago suburbs this place was perfect. Special thanks to the staff for excellent cocktail service.

I've never been on the "dance club" side of this place, but the martini bar section is pretty nice. It has more of a downtown lounge feel to it. There is a nice long granite top bar with several stools as well as some scattered tables. The place is very small, so I tend to come here on less crowded week days. I'm not a martini drinker myself but everyone I have gone with really enjoy all of them. I stick with shots and mixed drinks which have allways been made well and at a decent price.

Stopped in because I had a Groupon that was going to expire.
Got there around 6:30 and my friend and I were the only folks there. it was very nice inside and we got to sit on the ubber comfy black couches.
I ordered the 'Dirty Girl Scout' and my friend enjoyed the 'Blue Ocean' and the 'Bluebertini' (she has a thing for blue drinks so she was in heaven that there was several on the menu).  The drinks were Very, Very tasty! Decent sized portion and strong enough.
We also had the spinach dip - which i seem to review everywhere - along with their chocolate martinis. This was probably the tastiest spinach dip I've had in eons. it was Piping HOT and a Huge portion!
By 7:15 or so, more folks starting filling in.
I'm looking forward to another trip to taste more of the martinis, but only when I don't have to drive us!

Went here on a Groupon and will definitely come back!!  Incredible selection of specialty martinis, shaken and served right at your table.  Service dropped as they got busier, but they only had one waitress.  Tables and couches, mood lighting, random music but at a good loudness.  The appetizers are eh, and the crowd was a bit older, but worth it for a mellow martini night or a first date.

We went tonight to use our Groupon.  I don't understand some of the reviews.  Couches?  Decent food?  Intimate?  There were long leather/plastic seats against the wall.  Very small.  Very disappointed.  Not intimate at all.  Our waitress was nice, but the owner (I think) didn't bother to say anything.  The appetizer we had (spinach/artichoke dip) was not good, neither were the chips.  We didn't even get a plate to eat them on - just a napkin.  The Martinis average $10.00.  My husband had an absolute martini - which was $11.00.  Would not return.  Pricey for this place.

It's cool. Definitely one of the coolest bars I have found in T.P. Great liquor selection, hand-crafted martini's with cute names. Glen's (most of them) scotch. Quiet and older (read: 30's and up) crowd, mash up music. The kind of place I need.

I use it as an after work bar but I can see how it could be rocking on the weekends. And probably packed....glad I don't have to experience that. I can dig it, frankly, this is probably as good as it gets where it's located.

Staff has always been nice and fast. The first time I went in the bartender was surprised at my selection of scotch but that's cool, I know I look like a martini or cosmo girl. Just keep the scotch at the bar and I will keep coming back.

I have been saying for years that Tinley Park is truly missing a swanky establishment.  Sure, a few places nearby have *tried* it but the southwest burbs tend to be consumed with pub-style atmospheres.  So far, Intimo seems to have broken past that trend and maintained their stance as a martini bar.

The martini list is pretty extensive, something I appreciate.  I dig the decor and the layout reminds me of something you'd fine on the northside neighborhoods in the city.  Given they are expanding next door to include more of a night-club, their business plan must be working.  The first time I went, it certainly wasn't packed - especially for a Saturday.  However, I returned on a different Saturday to find the place pretty full.  And the crowd was pretty diverse, which is different than what you'd get up on Oak Park Avenue, so I appreciated that as well.  I also noted that the scene was primarily people in their 30s, skipping the 21 year old hipsters and avoiding the 45+ cougar crowd.  Again, much appreciated.

    $9 Martinis - huge list.
Swanky atmosphere - if that's your thing.
    A little pretentious.
    Good service.
    Dance floor coming soon....strange.

A perfectly adequate martini bar, but it seems fantastic in comparison to much of the drivel you find in the suburbs.  Went on a Monday, got $5 specialty martinis, and the chocolate ones were tasty.  Service was nice and responsive, seating was pleasantly situated, and the drinks were good.

They only have a couple appetizers, which is a bummer, but we had the buffalo chicken dip and chips (if I remember correctly), and it was tasty, if a bit expensive.

A nice touch was the fact that your drink is shaken table-side, and poured in front of you.  While this doesn't particularly affect the end result, it was nice to see.

Honestly, it's a very small place. Hence, the name Intimo.
I've come here during the week and on the weekends and it tends to get crowded. The decor reminds me of a trendy lounge in the city. There are 3 pages worth of martinis, sometimes it's hard to pick. The food isn't really worth getting (ex. the nachos) but definitely take a look at the martinis.I noticed it seems to be the place for older patrons/regulars and "girls night out" for middle aged women, but nothing bothersome. There's also several flat screens where they play whatever team is playing that night. I don't know if it happens all the time, but sometimes when the songs change, the music will get extremely loud, and they end up having to turn the volume all he way down. It happened several times one night so hope they fix that. Warning: there's usually only one bartender on the week days and two servers on the weekends so service tends to be slow. Really slow. So come here to enjoy your drinks with your friends and maybe order more than one drink at a time.

Came here on a Saturday night and it took them 40 mins to even take our order for our overpriced martinis.  There was definitely not enough waitresses or bartenders.

Small and cramped.   Mostly older crowd.   The martini's were forgettable.  Might be a good place to start your night with a friend or two and one martini, but def not a place to hang all night.

BEST CHOCOLATE BANANA MARTINI EVER. And Im not even a fan of that flavor. hehe  Mark is awesome- makes killer martinis,  fast, and great sense of humor. Can't vouch for other bartenders. Varied clientele. A lot of regulars here, no wonder. Parking right in the front. Do not come here for great food though- I think they dont have a fully functioning kitchen, so its just something to nibble on while you are getting drunk on these pretty strong MARKinis. hehe Highly recommended.

I went here for a friend's birthday...arriving there around 9:30 or so on a Saturday. There was already a crowd, with only a few tables still open. This is the type of place you can go on a date, with the girls, dressed up, or dressed down. I had the Mango Madness Martini...since I'm not a huge vodka fan, this had Mango Malibu, mango puree or juice and some other stuff....delicious! The rest of my gals had a dirty martini (extra dirty, grr baby), which wasn't her favorite, pineapple upside cake was enjoyed, as was the wine. The Funky Monkey also got rave reviews. One of the gals' coke was flat, but the waitress gladly took that off our bill....speaking of the waitress....it was her and the bartender, that's it...on a Saturday night. Not that we needed to be harassed, but it took a little too long each time she came and went.

The space is limited, but cute. Makes you a little hard of hearing when it is a full house, but much better than other places. No high school reunions either, which was welcomed.

Overall, a pleasant time was had by all. Would def go back and try some new drinks!

    5 stars.

    Amazing drink selection.

    Amazing atmosphere.

    GOOD and FAIR prices.

All in all this is a great place to go to for either an intimate evening or just going to grab a drink.

Marc, the owner, is always there since its his place so you can see the devotion and pride in his business.

You arent going to find a better martini bar ANYWHERE on the south side of Chicago. Period.

Went here after my boyfriend's bday dinner with a group. I had called ahead with some questions and the owner seemed really nice. Intimo has a nice atmosphere. I love going to the city and this place has that city feel without the overcrowding. The mango martini was really good. I thought the swedish fish martini was just okay  and a girl friend of mine had one she couldn't even drink but I can't remember the name. I'm glad this place also had tvs for the guys that might have been a tad bored.

We checked this place out Friday night.
    Beautufil decor
Huge list of Martinis.  I had the Swedish Fish Martini...tasted just like the candy.

Great date night place.  Great alternative to the sports bars in the area.
