  Awww!  It closed today.  I can't believe that they went out of business.  The food, staff and location were great.  Such a huge lose.

  The food is amazing! The decor, the strip mall location, the seating - sketchy at best. But the food, hands down, is the highlight of this restaurant. I've been around this great city and many others and I can attest to J's Bistro having one of the best turkey burgers in town (it ranks up there with Kuma's Corner and it's better than DMK). My friend had the chicken stir fry and was wowed by the simplicity and freshness of the dish. I say go for the food, not for who owns it or to move in permanently.

  This place was absolutely horrible. Too small space. Crappy decor. Horrible service. Drinks had no alcohol in them. One of the worst black owned businesses in Chicago.

  J. Bistro is a newly opened intimate little spot in Beverly.  There is live music there on Thursday nights and on Saturday nights.  The food is absolutely AWESOME!! My husband took me there for a pre-birthday celebration.  He ordered the Turkey burger which was one of the best Char-broiled Turkey Burgers in town.  I had the Chicken Stir fry with sweet chili sauce and it was AWESOME as well! The sweet chili gave it the right amount of spice without messing up the dish.  I also had a sour apple martini which was AWESOME!!!  I wish it was bigger!
