The place is CLASSIC,........it's like a SPEAKEASY, except that it smells like FEET & ASS!..........but that's a POSITIVE for this place. It's hard to tell the WOMEN from the MEN, they are both BIG, THICK and have STRONG ACCENTS. that being said, I'll be back every weekend I'm alive.....SAD........P!

This place has seemingly been under renovation forever, but is now re-opened.  There's not much different about this place from your typical 30 & 40- something low key sports bar, except that almost everyone speaks in Polish.  The vodka selection easily outclasses anything else in the immediate neighborhood, including Sobieski as well as a number of unpronounceables.  If you drink beer it really makes sense to get in the habit of drinking Okocim, the cheap but tasty Polish staple.  Deep purple walls, a black checkered floor, and booths in the back make for a pleasant environment.  I believe there's a kitchen being built, it will be interesting to see what they serve up.  The hard part about making plans to meet friends here, if you're not Polish, is pronouncing the name.  I believe it's something like "Yeah- Gyehl - LOAN - yuh" - say it!  "Yeah- Gyehl - LOAN - yuh."  I'm probably saying it wrong, though, so ask someone else when you get there...
