Went to Jake n Joes on a Sunday night.  Decided to sit outside and enjoy the view of the parking lot and route 1.  My Cousin and I both got an appetizer and  clam strip rolls.  After taking the order our waitress had to come back and tell us they were out of clams and lobster rolls.  oh well back to the menu.  I ordered a French dip and my cousin got a Philly cheese steak.  We had ordered Boneless Buffalo Fingers and  when they arrived we were kind of disappointed.  We ordered 6 and I was expecting Chicken tenders but they were actually balled up chicken nuggets.  They were flavorful, but not exactly what I was expecting. Our food arrived and my French dip was very good.  cooked right and the au jus dipping sauce was exactly what I wanted. My cousin was happy with her Philly cheese steak.  Our server was very attentive and refilled our beverages when needed.  Although the Manager never did come over they did comp us the appetizer and take a percentage off the bill for being out of the clam rolls.   Will probably return.
Review Source:This would be a great place if you could some service. The drink selection is pretty good, the menu is kind of boring with poor descriptions and no pictures but the service is terrible.
I  went there early on a Friday night. I was not greeted at the door so I went and sat at the bar. The place was about half full and there where more than enough  staff on duty but most of them where standing around talking to each other and ignoring the paying customers. There where about 6 bartenders but the only way to get any service was to flag one down. I don't remember see any of the staff smile, I got the feeling I was an  inconvenience. There are plenty of other restaurants in the area and I will probably choose one of those before I come back here.
Great bar, cool outdoor patio. Â Food was very blah. Â Ordered cheeseburger sliders - very greasy and did not meet the great description in the menu. Â They were suppose to be served with onion strings and spicy ketchup - neither was on my sliders. Â I only ate 1 and a half- I would have requested the additional items but the bartender did not check back until everyone was just about done. Â I just don't understand missing ingredients on something so simple. Â But again great place for a drink.
Review Source:Jake and Joes is the hometown hangout during football season. Â My friends and I will go for 1pm and spend the entire day watching all the games and checking our fantasy stats. Â It's a great, cozy spot when it comes to watching sports. Â I probably wouldn't go for any other occasion. Â It's very pubby and the food is just decent. Â I like that they have a wide drink selection and lots of beers to choose from. Â I don't find the staff to be particularly hospitable. Â They usually seem unhappy about having to be at work on a weekend. Â But nevertheless, I have no complaints about the experience. Â Expect to run into someone you know, or perhaps recognize from TV! Â And plan accordingly -- it gets CRAZY busy on the weekends. Â Go early to snag a table.
JnJ's gets a 4 because although the grub is mediocre, I can't imagine spending my football Sundays elsewhere. Â So many TVs and lots of spirit!
I like Jake and Joe's. Â A big place with a ton of very large TV's for catching games. Â Great place to grab beers after work as there is plenty of space around the bar for standing and talking in large groups if you don't want to sit.
The food is pretty good here. Â They do a nice calamari, flash fried, tender, and not greasy at all. Â They serve them with banana peppers. Â Burgers are consistently good. Â Especially the black and blue burger. Â They spice the burger up with pepper and add a nice amount of blue cheese crumbles on the burger. Â Nicely done. Â Good options for side with the usual fried, or onion rings or sweet potato fries..
You will spot the occasional pro athlete here too. Â Ocho Cinco was sitting next to me a few years ago.
I was reading all these negative reviews about Jake n Joes that it took me awhile to finally try this place out. Â I'm so glad I tried it out for myself, because I had a pretty damn good experience!
My fiance and I went to JnJ this past Sunday right before the Bruins game. Â Granted it was the night after the Blizzard of 2013, but it was still pretty busy. Â We were seated right away, and the waitress came right over to us and took our drink order. Â We loved the surrounding right away. Â Everywhere I look there is a TV, definitely a place to be to watch a game. Â We ordered the buffalo chicken dip for appetizer... OMG it was so amazing. Â Forget the tortilla chips, the bread that it came with was just DELICIOUS. Â We ate the whole thing.
Next, my fiance ordered bonesless JnJ wings, and I got the Philly Cheesesteak Mac n Cheese. Â The JnJ boneless wings were pretty good - it was a tangy spicy goodness. Â As to the Philly Cheesesteak mac and cheese, it was pretty weird to think about this, but it all works out. Â The sirloin tips mixed right into the gooey melty cheese on the shells, along with onions and green peppers. Â It was just like eating a cheesesteak without the bread, but with shells. Â Definitely delicious.
I can see how this place can get so busy that you would be ignored. Â For one thing, I have been to this JnJ before but left because I couldn't find parking, the lot was COMPLETELY full. Â I am just hoping I won't run into this in the future, as I really liked their food and atmosphere.
Waitress was a ghost and side orders on two out of four meals got messed up. The manager was a creeper standing at the entrance checking out all the females nodding his head as they all went by. The TVs are amazing and a great place to watch the games! So if you don't mind slow service and a creep manager this place is perfect!
Review Source:The good: JNJ wing sauce is amazing. Beer towers are always a plus. The service was great. My fiancé got a burger and said it was good.
The bad: we waited for over an hour when they told us it would be 45 minutes. Food is way overpriced for what you actually get.
The ugly: food was a serious let down. I got a buffalo chicken wrap that was so drenched in sauce I could barely pick it up. Also the "house made" onion rings were definitely not and they were disgusting. I would complain about the fact that I only got about 8 of them, but they were so bad I didn't care.
Well.. Â tried again for the Patriots Divisional game a couple of weekends ago, this was the final step through the doors of this place..
I am not going to do some huge write up, I have already done that.. Â But the place was packed, as expected, it is a great place to watch a game (if you can get a seat).. Â If you really like this place, call a couple of days in advance to reserve a table.. Â Anyway..
The hostess was accommodating, the place was packed, very limited availability but she did find us a small table and it did have a good view of a couple of TVS. Â Our waitresses was excellent for the most part.. Â She was VERY busy, they all were, and the majority of the time our drinks were full.. Â However, UGH, again with the food.. I ordered a plain Cheeseburger, it was DISGUSTING. Â I see many people have written the burgers and wings are their claim to fame, but I am flat out telling you, my burger tasted frozen, it was WAY overcooked, the bun seemed like it been thawed quickly and then toasted, it was really gross..Our waitresses did forget our dessert as well.. Â However, the dessert, towering fudge brownie sundae, was delicious.
So, there will be no more stops at Jake N Joe's if there is any chance I will need food..

Service was fine and as mentioned in prior reviews it's a great place to catch a game especially if you arrive with a crowd. I've come to this place a few times with coworkers for drinks but today I decided to dabble with the menu. I ordered a simple cob salad and it was funky like extra damn funky with something rotten on top. I f%*#ing suck at speaking up about food issues I probably could have switched my order but I was with a coworker and pressed for time. The chicken in the salad was really off. Smelled off looked grey and as someone that has had serious food poising there is nothing more off putting then funky chicken. I won't be back for food from here anytime soon.
Review Source:This would be a great place to watch a game with its over-sized bar and plenty of huge TVs. Â
A group of friends and I came in on Sunday night around 8:30p and sat at the bar for some drinks and dinner. Â The service was ridiculously slow. Â Usually, when you sit at a bar to eat the service seems to be faster at other restaurants, because the bartender/service staff is right in front of you/attentive. Â This was not the case here. Â I had to ask for someone to take our order. Â The food was so-so. Â Right about the same quality of most sports bars or chains like Chilis, Applebees, etc. Â Not exactly my cup of tea. Â The beer selection on tap was nothing to write home about either. Â They had two different kinds of pumpkin beer on tap, but no Stella on tap...really?? Â This is not a place that I would every choose to come back to, but if that's where the group was headed to watch a game, I wouldn't protest.
The great:
-unquestionably good place to watch a game. Good placement of tvs and there's a lot of them.
The good:
-Good wings and burger. Wings are available with a number of sauces. Burger was cooked as ordered and tasted very good!
- service was very good and all employees were very friendly.
The bad:
-prices pretty bad for what you're getting and the location. $16 for $15 wings is pretty awful especially since they aren't the best wings around. more than $5 for anything not coors light or bud light is steep.
-beer battered Onion rings I got with my burger were not very good. I doubt they were house made.
Overall, i had a good time. I would go back for a special occasion (birthday, super bowl), but don't think i would be a regular.
First and Last time at Jake N Joes.
We got there at 9:20pm as there were about to switch the menu over to late night (on their menus it says it starts @9:30). When we asked we were told we couldn't have the regular menu they kitchen had already switched. Â The restaurant wasn't super busy, but it wasn't dead either.
There aren't many (if any) healthy options on the late night menu. We ended up sharing some appetizers and having a drink. Â Our waitress was never around. It took more than 15 minutes to get our first drink. Our apps came and none of us had silverware, I would have grabbed from another table but none of them had silverware, we ended up flagging down another server. Â The buffalo chicken dip was just huge chunks of cream cheese mixed with hot sauce. She never came back to check on us so, we didn't get a second drink or the opportunity to send the dip back. Â When she finally appeared we asked for our check which she eventually brought over. We paid and left. I just got my statement and guess who added more to her tip?
I WILL NOT BE BACK.
Great Buffalo Wings. Â Boneless ones are great. Â They have great specials. Â Tues is half off appts. Â Great place to watch a game. Â Its an old Ground Round that has been done over and it looks great. Â Nice wide open floor plan. Â Beers are a bit pricey but overall a good place to have a good meal. Â Â In an area where a good sports bar is hard to find this is a great place.
Review Source:I checked this place out for the first time the other night and have nothing bad to say about it. Â the bar area is HUGE and we were seated right away at about 8pm on a Friday night. Â Four of us shared two beer vessels, the JnJ-style bonesless wings, and a BLT pizza, and the guys ordered two salads as well. Â The boneless wings were tangy and well seasoned and not overly greasy, just enough crunch. Â The BLT pizza sketched me out at first (mayo on a pizza!?!) but somehow it really worked. Â the JnJ chopped salas looked refreshing...i tried my husband's southwest salad and it was pretty standard, but the chipotle dressing was tasty. Â Our waiter was attentive and personable and we got $10 off our bill for checking in on Yelp! Â I'd go back for drinks with friends and to try some other fare off their pretty extensive menu.
Review Source:The biggest PLUS to this place are the TV placements! Â Best place in the area to watch sports. Â Even the outdoor patio has TVs!
The wait times can fill up to even 2 hours during peak playoff events. Â The food prices are pretty high for what you get and it can be a hit one time but a miss the other time. Â My go to foods are any of the apps or burgers. Â
They have fun high sugar drinks like intense oreo mudslides and different types of flavored margaritas. Â Also they serve those individual taps for the table. Â The service is on par. Â This is a very local area bar and great for large groups.
It's an easy go-to place for last minute sports gatherings.
Here's the thing: I really want to like this place. Â I live right down the road, and I would love to have a solid sports bar essentially within walking distance of my house.
Jake and Joe's certainly delivers in the TV department. Â They have tons of big screen tv's showing various sports at all times...even outside. Â Unfortunately, that is easily the highlight.
The beer selection is meager at best. Â They should double the list at the very least. Â And the food? Â Acceptable, assuming you get the right food. Â Multiple times someone in my party has gotten the wrong item. Â I guess if I had to recommend anything it would be the wing tower. Â Again, the food is good, but far from anything I'd rave about.
Nearby there are multiple Irish pubs with better food. Â And right down the road is a brew pub with literally dozens (if not 100+) more types of beer (and amazing food as well).
Jake and Joe's needs to up their game in order to compete. Â It's a decent place, but there's no reason to frequent this establishment with so many options nearby that "get it".
I'd recommend this place if your are looking to catch a game. Â It's huge and everywhere you look there's a tv.
The Good: The drinks are pretty cheap, for beer they have pitchers and towers (which are awesome)!! They also have their own cocktails menu. Â The menu is a little overwhelming, but the food is great! Â I had the salmon glazed salad which I love and my boyfriend had the steak tips which were really flavorful.
The Bad: The ladies in the front could be a little more friendly. Â When we came in the girl just stood there and stared at us until I said something, which I though was kind of weird.
The ugly truth: Overall feeling about this place, is that I'd recommend it! It's a good decent place in the area with lots of space so you'd probably never be waiting long (if at all).
A nice alternative when Legacy Place is too crowded. The place is clean, the staff is nice and there are plenty of seats and TVs.
The beer list is decent. Legacy Place prices, but they do offer beer towers.
The food menu has plenty of options. You won't leave thrilled, but in my opinion, the food is better than at the Yardhouse (this is not exactly a compliment).
The buffalo nachos are a solid starter, the pizzas are mediocre and the philly cheese steak was good.
I wouldn't make a point to go back, but its really not a bad place to watch a game.
If you want to watch a game, GO HERE. The food is average, the prices are a little high but there are TV's literally everywhere you look.
If you're just looking for a meal, I would not recommend it. It's definitely a sports bar on steroids. Not a date type place...ever.
Football is fantastic here, you can see every game that's going on pretty much without having to try.
Beer towers are pretty sweet too but more standard than amazing nowadays at places like these.
It's clean and well lit, (you'll see those creepy guys coming from a mile away).
Go n check it out for the Pats playoffs, and you won't get stared at for cheering. You'll be in the minority if you're not!
Hello and welcome to (Insert Generic Sports Bar Name).
That's the lasting impression I got from eating at (Insert Generic Sports Bar Name). I had an (Insert Generic Name for Burger) and it tasted more like crappy meatloaf than a burger. Not to mention the food was pretty overpriced and service just wasn't all that great.
The gigantic TV's and sweet Boston sports memorabilia certainly make this place look great but take away great food and this place is just a glorified bar. No thanks!
A wonderful looking sports bar with TV's galore but service could be improved. Â From the hostess to the server, I wondered if they were all having an off night. Â No smiles, no hellos, they either seemed unhappy or short staffed...but it was a random weekday evening... so there were many open tables and didn't appear busy at all. Â I asked if we could be seated in a booth instead of a table, and the server curtly said "no" even though there was one available. Â
I had a grilled cheese sandwich and tomato soup. Â It definitely hit the spot. Â However, the service can make or break a dining experience... and in this case, it is questionable if I will ever return as there are many other establishments in this area that serve much better food and have much better service as well. Â As nice as the sports bar appeared on entrance, I left completely underwhelmed. Â It's really too bad, because this place has a lot of potential. Â It's never too late to change, so hopefully they take a tip and re-train their staff.
Came here for drinks after a dinner out in Canton. Â Not really a place i would always come to because it's not really close to me, but for those who are local to the area, it's a great place to have drinks and watch games.
I never ate here, so I can't really comment on that. Â But it is a good laid back place for drinks and the game. Â They even have a patio with screens outside, but too bad I didn't get to experience that since it was raining then I went.
I have not come here for anything besides lunch during the work week, and have had a nice experience each time.
The service is fast, and they have a healthy lunch selection. I had the California Chicken Wrap and it was the perfect amount of food and came out quickly.
The bar area is two or three times the size of normal restaurant bars, and I can see why it would be a nice place to catch a game at night or on the weekends.
Also, if you use it, check SCVNGR for some cool rewards on appetizers and savings.
Please stay away. Do not be lured by the nice building, huge sign and extra large TV. Sadly I have been lured by those things 3 times already.
I work in the Route 1 area and the hum drum chains force you to go to the new place.
After the first visit, which was absolutely terrible, I was met with mediocre food and horrible service every time.
I kept going though thinking that the outcome would eventually change. I guess I am insane since the definition is doing the same thing over and over expecting a different outcome.
Their waitstaff is currently the worst I have ever experienced. Every time we go to eat, the waiter will sit us down with only one place setting and just leaves. We are always left to fend for ourselves to find fork, knife and napkins. Yeah pretty atrocious. And this isn't just done with one particular waiter/waitress. This has been done multiple times!
The food is very mediocre. I have done their fish and chips. It is very rubbery and nothing special. I have done their burgers and they aren't even up to par of chain restaurants.
Jake 'n Joes really needs an overhaul on management because they are not teaching their staff properly. They also need new chefs to come up with better recipes.
We went to Jake N Joes for a friend's birthday. Â After checking out the mediocre reviews on yelp, I wasn't too thrilled, but I figured I'd go and try it out.
The place is HUUUUGE! Â Tons of space to drink around the bar and watch sports on one of their many TV's. Â The birthay boy made reservations beforehand, thank goodness - because there were 18 of us. Â The table was ready for us right at 7, which was great. Â
The server was nice, Â but lady luck did not want me to enjoy my J n J's experience. Â I really wanted the steamers, which were listed in bold on the appetizer section of the menu. Â The waitress told me that the steamers were no longer available because they lacked in quality, but the restaurant still keeps this item listed on the menu. Â I looked at her like she was crazy! Â This is New England...how badly can a cook mess up steamers? Â If they don't know how to cook one of the most simple things, they could even just google it. Â And to top it off they kept it on their big menu. Â I've seen some establishments place a big sticker over an item, and as tacky as that is, I appreciate not having to look at a tempting item that is no longer available.
Next I ordered the Reuben.  Simple, they had to have it....right? Nope!  They ran out of ingredients for the reuben that evening.  I ended up having the baked scrod with sweet potato fries.  Both  were fine, but nothing to rave about.
Beer selection wad decent. Atmosphere was loud but inviting.
My husband said  turkey dinner was so so.  Sides were done well but re turkey was dry and thinly cut.
The waitress barely came by to refill our waters and my friend who had diet coke had to repeatedly wave the waitress down for her refill. Â It was a large group, but the extreme thirst pushed me over the edge.
It wasn't terrible, I didn't leave with a stomach ache or anything wretched..but I don't think we will ever go back.
The boy and I went with a group of 7 on a Saturday night and expected, of course, for a bit of a wait. Â The hostess was right on the money, and we waited our suggested 40 minutes. Â We waited beside the bar and ordered a few drinks-Beware! The drinks are more at the bar then they are the tables! Â $8 for a 16 oz Rapskallion, but advertised for less in the menu. Â
Per usual for a sports bar, a lot of nice looking and young staffers, but clueless about waiting tables, and even more clueless about the menu that they're delivering.
I wanted, badly, to love this place, but I'm hard pressed to try it again. Â For what it was, a Sports bar with an app/random entree menu, it was far too expensive and tasteless. Â
A million tvs didn't make up for it's lackluster food and high prices.
Hubby and I stopped here for lunch on Saturday and we enjoyed it. Â
We didn't find the food terribly overpriced, which seems to be the consensus, so I'm thinking we must not be eating at the cheap places and we are apparently missing out because we would really like to eat good food cheap. Â We certainly aren't made of money so I'd love to know all these cheap places to dine. Â
Hubby got the slider combo platter with the regular fries and he thought they were all really good. Â I kept stealing his onion strings. Â I ordered the California Chicken Club and I thought it was great. Â Tons of avocado, chicken, bacon, sprouts...just really good. Â And the fact that it was on multigrain bread was even better. Â I got the side of potato salad which was good, nothing spectacular but good.
Our waiter was on the quiet side, but when we asked questions, he always had the answers and was more than willing to chat with us a bit. Â We really liked the layout and the atmosphere and I can only imagine what it is like during a game.
We plan on going back.
This place is mostly a great spot to just get some drinks after work or to watch a game. I wasn't too impressed with the menu as I thought everything was incredibly overpriced. I get that you need to help pay for all those TVs but then make the food quality good. I got a chicken cesar salad for like 13bucks or something...for a salad!!
I did like the atmoshere though I thought that was cool. Definitely from the outside wasn't excpecting it to look like a pubish type place.
Norwood is filled with so many good places to eat, this is not one of them. The food is just "ok" and your paying a premium for it so they can keep all those TV's running. I ordered turkey tips for 14.95 and I received a plate that looked like a kids meal. (I will try to upload the photo, it's funny.) Save your money and go to Conrad's, Lewis's or my favorite Cafe Venice in South Norwood.
I actually left this restaurant hungry...
Jake 'N Joe's is another place that I really wanted to like, but ended up being disappointed.
When we got there we could see that:
- The place is HUGE!
- There are a bazillion TV's which is just awesome
- It was amazingly packed.
With a party of 7 we checked in and was told it was a 40 minute wait. Fine. I step to the bar and order a bud light draft and a Rapscallion Honey draft...for $12?! Where am I? So Im told the BL is $4.25 so that means the Rap is $7.75?! Right....so we look at the menu where the beer list is and the printed prices: $4 for the BL and $5.75 for the Rap. in other words, this shady asshat bartender just pocketed $3 plus my $2 tip. That's straight up grand larceny.
Eventually we're seated in a booth built for 6 and our server, who was very, very nice and very attentive, took our order promptly. We ordered a buffalo chicken dip app that had very little buffalo and too much sour cream/cream cheese or whatever white substance it was. I ordered the Sirloin steak tips for $17 that only comes with 1 side...or so I thought. There was a giant pile of cole slaw on my plate. I'd rather eat a steaming pile of the plague than eat cole slaw and there's nothing I hate more than seeing my fries sopping up that white jizz. Oh and I got 6 tiny tips that were probably "marinated" in nothing more than Italian dressing. Pure laziness.
In all honesty, this place has potential, but it's not even close to it just yet and I'll probably go there again, but not until they've had some time to work out their issues. Â If someone associated with Jake n' Joe's happens to read this (**crickets**) if the bar is going to charge more for drinks then patrons should be fully aware otherwise you could have a real problem on your hands.
Had this the other day with my family. Â It's a brand new sports bar with TONS of TV's everywhere even outside on their patio so you won't have to worry about missing a game. Â The place was created by the Nocera family so if you're a fan on La Chateu and Nocera's you'll like this place as well. Â The waitress was very nice and gave me a points card, which it seems like lots of restaurants are doing nowadays to get more people to come in. Â I'll definitely use it though as they give you $15 bucks on the card for your birthday month to spend there. Â Too bad this place wasn't open then. Â
Ok, so onto the food.  I order the spicy catfish, which was awesome.  It came with rice and coleslaw but the waitress said that I could order a different side if I wanted.  My mom had some 3 sliders and a side of sweet potatoe fries which she said were good.  My father had something that I didn't get to see as he devoured it so I'm guessing that was pretty tasty if he tasted it at all. heh  My sister had the steak and cheese which she said was ok.  She'd have something different next time though.  The real star was the huge desserts!  We had a chocolate layer cake which was sooo good plus a banana burrito which was had a fried dough outside wrapping with ricotta cheese and banana inside.  Oh soo good but ohhh so bad for you. hehe
Definitely can't wait to go back for more and try out the rest of their menu!
From the owners of Nocera's and The Chateau fame, I didn't even know Jake N Joes existed before driving past the brick monstrosity recently. Wasn't the Ground Round like a third of its size? Either way, they did a great job on this location with a nice patio area (even if it does face a noisy Route 1) and the inside is pretty amazing. I mean, you walk in to high, exposed ceilings. A look to the right shows what must be a more family-friendly dining area with doors to help close out the noise from a large bar area. To the left, you have the bar and some booths. Then a lot of tables. Then more booths. It was like a sea of people hanging out on a non-Friday weeknight. Kind of bananas if you ask me.
The bar is itself is pretty spectacular and looks like it seats about 40. One side has around seven large flat screens hung above the center, and the other side has maybe one enormous and two huge TVs. You know when you are watching a championship game on, say, ESPN, and they decide to go to a team's local bar to film the drunk patrons? And there's a little notation that says "LIVE FROM BOSTON!" in the corner of the screen? This looks like one of those bars, and it could be -- if only it weren't in Norwood.
Of course, the first thought is that it is the perfect location to watch Pats or playoff games. If the cheers from Scutaro's grand slam last night, enhanced by the high ceilings, sounded that good, I can only imagine how pumped everyone would be when watching Pats games.
Cool sports-bardom aside, we found the beer to be expensive. There's no need to spend $4.00 on a Bud Light, $5.75 on a Wachusett Blueberry, or $6.00(!!!) on a Guinness. The pour looked alright, but expect to pay about $1 to $1.50 more per drink than you would at the BBC down the street.
I ordered a BBQ burger (a little sloppy but good) and my companions got Thanksgiving sandwiches which they both raved about. The fries were lukewarm, and the onion rings were big suckers (lots of batter if you like that sort of thing). Entree costs were a bit pricey (like a $14.00 burrito. ¡Ay, caramba!), but maybe it's worth it when you factor in your locale; I can't think of another place in the area with that good of a sports bar setup.
I am sure I will be back here to watch the Pats when September hits, but I may pre-game elsewhere to save a few bucks.
I've been looking forward to after work drinks at Jake n Joe's since I first saw the brick structure rise up on Route 1. Early dismissal day on the Friday before the July 4th weekend prompted a group of us to head on over there at 3pm!
We saw the 80% full tables out front, so promptly requested to be sat outside at the one empty table. The hostess then informed us that the waitresses outside were "overwhelmed" and that they were not seating anyone else outside at the moment. So we offered to grab drinks at the bar and seat ourselves outside in an effort to enjoy the outside while not "overwhelming" the waitress further. The manager said that was fine, so we ponied up to the bar in an attempt to flag down the bartender.
The bar had maybe... 12 people sitting around it? The bartender was unable to make more than one drink at a time (slooooooooowly), so it was a full 45 minutes before we received 3 drinks. Â Yes, 45 minutes for THREE drinks. And they were the WORST mixed drinks I've ever had. My drink could've been used as paint thinner. The bartender was also unable to make simple change easily. She argued with us about how much money we had put down, and we had to keep explaining to her that the two $20 bills in her hands were from us.
And yes, by the time we got outside the one free table we had pegged 45 minutes earlier was full of people. Getting waited on.
We finally got another table outside, and the waitress outside ended up being pretty awesome and provided us with additional beers and desserts as we had wanted.
But will I ever be back? Hells no. The bartender left such a HORRIBLE taste in my mouth (really? You can't make change? Nor a simple DRINK? Worst bartender ever), and my poor boyfriend had horrible digestive issues from the burger he had (it came an hour late after it was forgotten and when it finally came it was covered in onion juice).
One of my coworkers swear by the margaritas here, but I don't think I'll ever make it back. Thanks but no thanks.
