Joe's Pizza

Joe's is always our first stop for pizza or sandwiches.  My family eats here at least once a week.  The pizza's are delicious and the specialty pies are loaded with toppings.  We especially love the hot & spicy and hamburger pizzas.  Their subs are great too...real meats (Boars Head) with your choice of bread and tons of toppings.  Their half sub is bigger than the footlongs served at the chain place (and less expensive too!).  The staff is always friendly and they take the time to get to know their customers...a real neighborhood place!

I have to say, since I wrote my original review we've had much better luck at Joe's. First and foremost, the pizza there the last few months has been out of sight! Wonderful topping combinations (try the margherite or the white spinach with bacon) and plenty of them (the chicken parm pizza is LOADED with chicken!) and a really tasty, fresh crust with a zesty sauce, has made Joe's one of the best pizza destinations in Newburgh. We've even had better luck on their many sandwich combinations as well. Glad to see they have straightened out the rough patch we experienced earlier in the year!

The pizza at Joe's is by far a 5 STAR pizza.  The italian food makes my vote a 4 (it's good, but nothing particularly special).  Always my first coice when ordering pizza.  My family & I have tried a few places in the area and we all vote Joe's as our #1 place!  Usually friendly people behind the counter.  Salads are also good.  Yummy garlic knots.  Good cannolis.

The inside is small & casual, but they keep it clean.
