This is the only bar I've ever been to that offers free nachos all day! That's warm tortilla chips and hot cheese there for the taking. Â It's self-serve along with free popcorn, and no one really judges you if you decided to scoop a second helping while enjoying a pitcher of High Life with a couple friends. Â And big pitchers of domestics are reasonable enough at $7.50.
My friend lives a few blocks from Joey's Mob Scene, and it is quite a gem in an area  where there really aren't many great nightlife options, especially for a couple guys in their mid-twenties.  The crowd there can get pretty diverse but for the most part it's locals of all ages.  The bartenders have always been friendly and were very welcoming to a couple of non-regulars the first few times we stopped in.
Most weeknights are usually pretty chill, and you can find a spot at the bar to chat or catch the Brewer game. I've been there on Thursdays a couple times for karaoke and those are fun crowds. The host is a fun guy and tries to get people involved but there's no pressure.  Fridays and Saturdays can get a little loud and rowdy but the bartenders are usually on point  and perceptive of who's next to serve.
Sometimes bars in the quieter Milwaukee neighborhoods will close early during the week if no one is there, but Joey's Mob Scene is open till bar close every night, so you can count on it, and that's nice. Â It also opens up at 6am everyday, giving third-shifters or your bender friend another option.
Again, free nachos. Â Brilliant!
