This used to be one of my fav. rest. in Columbus, but for last couple of times I've been quite disappointed. Meal had very less chicken, on asking I was told I have to pay $2 extra for more of it. Dessert was soggy, probably just defrosted and served. For whatever reason, quality has deteriorated recently, I'm not going there again :(
Review Source:So my expectations were low, given this is a chain. Â I can't remember exactly what we all had but I do remember what I had: Â the jalapeno garlic tilapia. Â It was AMAZING. Â And their bread and oil was delicious.
So don't be scared away; this place does a great job with their food and service.
We had lunch today after some shopping. I had the lunch special, soup or salad and half of a panini which comes with pasta or Parmesan french fries and I chose the fries. Nicely done. Â I had the tomato Florentine soup which was wonderful. Perfectly seasoned and nice and creamy. My panini was the chicken Parmesan. My food was hot and fresh out of the kitchen. My husband had the garden salad with southwest ranch dressing and he said it was great. He also had the tomato Florentine soup and he enjoyed it very much. Our waitstaff was a delight. I'm glad we went there today. With the roll of hot bread and olive oil dip the lunch was a huge success. Bravo Carino's.
Review Source:I went to Indy yesterday to visit one of my friends and her husband in Columbus, granted this is a small town and there were not that many choices but when she explained the place to me it seemed safe...This is like the Olive Garden (I hate the Olive Garden and this is on my list of disgusting places to eat) but this place was just as or more disgusting. Keep in mind I left my house at 700 AM and did not have breakfast before I left on my 4.5 hour drive and was starving when I got there, so a rubber tire would have been really good at this point..
I am a lacto ovo vegetarian and can't eat most of the menu and my friend has a lot of allergies-but when in doubt I get a basic fettucine alfredo...it was slimey and mushy and disgusting (her husbands meal was good thank goodness). The waitress kept on giving us the stink eye and everything we asked her for was like a big deal, even questions on the menu (she even rolled her eyes at us at one point (well 2 times-nice...real nice)... Maybe she was having a bad day...maybe not...The resturaunt was not busy at all we went after the lunch rush (if there had been one) and before dinner. There was no excuse for her behaviour or the yucky food.
Yuck...Yuck...Yuck...I would have went to Mickey D's and called it a day.
Another good ol' midwest restaurant chain. This is supposed to be their Olive Garden. Unfortunately, I am not a fan of Olive Garden.
The pasta was plentiful but lacked any originality or zest in the ingredients. However, it was good and I would definitely visit here again considering the limited choices in Indiana. The service was friendly and attentive despite how crowded the restaurant was, hence the four stars.
Huge portions, priced like an Olive Garden, and great service.
