Look forward to every visit. My family and I come here every month to watch UFC on PPV. We arrive early so we can sit, relax and leisurely eat our food before the PPV starts.
So far, in half a dozen visits, we have yet to be disappointed. We have had appetizers as well as entrees and everything has been quite good. I would recommend the nachos with beef or chicken, the chips appear to be made in house and quite tasty. The chicken is tasty and the beef is as well.
The portions are plenty big, even for the heartiest appetite.
The staff is friendly and the waiters and waitresses are attentive and pleasant.
The PPV is shownon big screen, which needs to be replaced as it has 3 white lines from the top down which at times is distracting.
All in all, a pleasant place to relax and enjoy a decent meal.
They have surprisingly good food here. I have eaten here a couple times and ordered what was on special. My favorite dish was pork chops.
As far partying goes, I recommend this place for pregaming before the next stop. It is a cougar hang out. Be careful they will have their claws out! We always think we are going to run into my buddy's Mom here.
Order a tall mixed drink, it will destroy you. I pregamed last time I was here before heading in to the city and it was a rough. 2 jack and gingers at Kaminskis I was set for the whole ride into Philly and then some!
Also try a pickle shot, they are intense.
I've been coming here for years and I've eaten here many times and spent many nights closing the bar. My concern is that the food quality has diminished quite a bit from a few years ago. The wings are now hit or miss, meaning they sometimes have that old burnt fryer oil taste to em which makes them almost inedible and the sauces are way to buttery. What ever happened to the good old fashioned buffalo sauce? Maybe try a few less pints of butter in it. And the blue cheese??? What is that watery mess you guys call blue cheese? Its a dressing, not a drink. Should be creamy and have blue cheese in it. If you find a piece, you've hit the jackpot.
I also used to like the French Onion Soup which is now a bowl of salty mush with cheese on top and the Chicken Caesar Salad that used to be crunchy greens and fresh chicken turned into a slimy mess with week old chicken slices. I'm not sure what happened but someone needs to slap some sense into the owner, fire the chef and concentrate on making the food & overall atmosphere better. The lighting is terrible and even the bartenders look like they are miserable.
Two thumbs down
What a bummer! I was told Kaminski's was a great spot for a Saturday night. I came here and was kinda bummed. We arrived around 9P and it was empty inside. There were families that had come from a softball game and a MUCH older crowd.
The service was slow as molasses (how can that be if it's empty?!) and the wait staff all looked bored and annoyed.
I didn't try their food, but the dining room looked pretty packed. Not sure I'll be back to try though.
For over 30 Years a nice place to chill out and relax on Friday after work or the occasional weeknight watching the Phillies or the Eagles games or some afternoon after playing a round of golf with the Boys. The beer is cold, the food is good and the atmosphere is fun. High-Five!! : )
Review Source:We've been hitting this place for years when I visit my Jersey relatives. Â We were there again twice last week for beers/lunch.
The lunch...the cheesesteak...was worse than the worst airport food. Â Microscopic serving of dry, tasteless meat hunkering in its naked roll. Â Cherry Hill has some great cheesesteak places...Kaminski's version is laughable given its competition.
Next day for beers...We started out outdoors and were pleasantly surprised to find Great Lakes porter on draft (even though the server couldn't name the beer style). Â At about 5 p.m., musicians got set up on this smallish patio and start blasting away. Â The music wasn't bad; it was just that we were literally yelling into each others' ears to continue our conversation...and we were in the back of the place. Â So we moved indoors. Â I ordered another porter and was told that I couldn't have that beer indoors...only outside. Â The server didn't offer to get the beer and carry it 20 steps to me. Â Nor did she offer any any explanation.
Anyhow, it's a great place for eye candy and awful for food and service in my opinion. Â
Head over to Dubh Linn Square Pub. Â Food's great; beer's wonderful (with lots of really savvy craft picks) and service is top-rate. Servers aren't bad looking either. Â :)
I stopped at Kaminski's today at 2:00 p.m. to have lunch and watch a little of the Philly's preseason game. As you can image it wasn't too busy at this time of day.
I ordered a chicken caesar salad as its nice they offer a good range of other meals other than bar food. When the salad arrived I was very disappointed. It was drowned in dressing which made all of the lettuce very soggy. The chicken tasted as though it was prepared days ago. The exterior of the chicken was very hard; it contained chewy bits of grizzle on the ends and did not taste fresh. Because I was hungry I tried to eat some of the crisp pieces of lettuce and softer pieces of chicken but didn't get very far.
What is disappointing is that the bartender never once asked me how my lunch was. As I said earlier, there wasn't a large amount of people in the bar so there was ample time to follow up with me. I pushed my salad towards the bar indicating I was obviously finished. A short time later the bartender asked if I was done. Since I only had a few bites the plate was still full of food. I would tend to think she would ask if everything was ok since I had a full salad left but she did not. When I said I was done all she asked was if I wanted it wrapped up. I told her no and she walked away and threw it out. Â On a side note, the salad did not look appealing at all either. I can't imagine the bartender didn't recognize the salad looked like a soggy mess and the chicken was far from appealing. I should have asked for dressing on the side but regardless, how difficult is it to make a good, simple caesar salad?
It would have been nice and absolutely appropriate to ask if everything was ok with the salad. This would indicate someone who cares about their patrons and ensuring they have a good experience. If she would have asked I would have been very discreet about what was wrong so that it would not affect other patrons in the bar. However, I never got this chance which is what prompted me to write this review.
I then asked for the check and wasn't very happy to pay for a $10:00 salad I didn't eat. I also wasn't happy going home and having to cook my own lunch when I just paid $15:00 dollars for one beer and the salad and tipping $5 dollars for it. I know I shouldn't pay for bad food or service but that is my weak point. I have a hard time not tipping to those that depend greatly on tips to pay their bills.
I won't be returning to Kaminski's any time soon. Â There are way too many good restaurants in Cherry Hill to get a good meal and I'd rather spend my money where the owner and staff appreciate it.
I was coaxed to meet up with High School mate , so I went o Kaminskis . I think it has been over 15 yrs since I came here.It was hole in wall, apparently in cherry Hill it is historic landmark now, they have since added on tent, fire pit outside, extended dining area.Adelphia's wanted to knock it down, build it up-But Cherry Hill didnt allow it. From what my school mate said, bought out by same owners as Adelphia's. No wonder the menu is more impressive & bigger too!! The wraps, burgers, etc were all good. The nachos I got(Yes-it was my cheat day) was enough for 4 people-ridiculous size!!! I got Malibu Bay breeze, the bartender made it spot on!! What!! I had 2 -yeah..you know I'm light weight!!! But it was good to catch up..nice place to meet up.
Me personally, not real diverse, but then again it is in heart of Cherry Hill, NJ.
Oh well!! All in all, not bad place, just not my personal choice to go here!!
Kaminski's isn't perfect but it gets a good review from this regular. The happy hour food ranges from gross to edible, but it's free and who won't pick at free food? Expect to rub elbows with lots of seniors for the buffet that are also spending social security checks on reduced price drinks at Happy Hour. Drink prices are reasonable no matter what time you go in. They have some quality beers on tap. The menu is quite good for bar food. Service is normally attentive but can be slow especially on the patio. Speaking of the patio, I consider it to be the main attraction at Ks, particularly in the summer and early Fall. K's does have live entertainment almost weekly and well like the buffet you get what you pay for. Still Ks is a great spot for Happy Hour, watching a sporting event inside or hanging on the patio enjoying some cold ones. The parking lot has ample spaces but it will be very crowded at times over the summer.
Review Source:What a disappointment. I was anxious to try Kaminski's as it was a favorite hangout of my crowd back in our college days (the 80's).  I have moved from the area many years ago and haven't been back in almost 25 years.  I went there recently for happy hour/dinner on a Tuesday evening.  Awful.  The happy hour food was "slop - soggy fries, limp lettuce and freezer to microwave boneless skinless chicken breast. The food was cold. Additionally, the menu and specials advertised on the website  are inaccurate. When we ordered dinner (beef sandwiches) I mentioned that the website reflected a different menu and lower prices and the response was- "oh they haven't updated that yet "? Â
The restaurant was dirty, food was horrible and I will never go back. Â The Kaminski's I knew from yrs ago was no 5 star establishment but it was clean, had great food and a fun crowd. Â I was hoping for the same experience this time. Â There is a shocking decline in the quality & taste of their once very famous roast beef sandwich.
Sad.
Food was excellent once they got my order right. The place was a little dirty and the waitstaff was helpful but snooty and did not divulge the policy of their entertainment coupon discounts and daily specials. My coupon says "buy one get one free of equal or less value dinner". The menu said "kids eat free with purchase of one adult dinner". It did not say no sandwiches or apps or mention that it is only good for entrees for adults and children. I presented my coupon and the waitress said nothing when I ordered. She gave me my check and said "oh yeah, I can't give ya the discount, because you ordered burgers." WHAT???? It is an 11 dollar burger so isn't that the same price as a friggin entree? Read this fine print chickie...It is a shame this happened because the food was good. The meals are huge and tasty. I order the gyro and they forgot the Tzatziki sauce which put a damper on things because like I said the meat was really good. The waitress went to grab my plate and I shrieked with horror of the thought of a chef getting scolded for forgetting Tzatziki sauce and dumping a load of jizz on my gyro. I asked for a cup of sauce and I got about 1 tablespoon of sauce. YAY! Now that made it taste like a Gyro...NOT!!! The onion rings were off the hook and my friend's burger looked delish. It's just a shame that "little thing" get in the way and ruin a good time...and ruin a good review for great food as well. MEH.
Review Source:Not tremendous atmosphere, but Down Home burger, awesome. Â Dead Man Walking, awesome. Â Food is great, from what I've had, and really good specials each day. (eg 1/2 price burgers on Thursday, $3 shots Pinnacle vodka on Sats)
The food at this place is awesome. Â And, as I was sitting there for the start of the 1pm NFL games, they passed around a hoagie tray... free. Â So, while I ate the Dead Man Walking anyway, I wouldn't have needed to pay for food. Â
Nice place.
Knocking this down to 2 stars. The management must think this place is a club like Adelphia's and not simply a bar/restaurant. Was there recently for a happy hour with a friend and we were subjected to music blasted throughout the restaurant at a ridiculously loud volume. Outside the louder music is expected in the summer but people inside should be able to hold a conversation without shouting. Turn it down a bit, guys.
Review Source:I have been putting off writing this review for about three weeks now. I kept thinking maybe time would make it get better in my mind. I know several folks who love this place for Happy Hour but honestly I am not a fan. We went here a few Saturday nights ago to celebrate a friend's birthday. The outside patio is nice but my compliments end there.
I got the kalamata salad for dinner. The salad seemed to have been prepared sometime around Thursday as the lettuce was limp and the cut marks were dry and rusty. I could have picked up a fresher salad at McDonald's. I struck out on the drinks too. I started with a mojito which was blah. I later noticed that they were preparing them with Rose's lime rather than fresh squeezed. I think fresh ingredients make the difference in a drink. Since my dinner totally sucked I decided that I would try to fill the void in my stomach with a bloody mary. It was disgusting. I though that maybe I was just jaded and was being overly picky so had my bf try it. He agreed there was something with it. It tasted like they added simple syrup to tomatoe juice as it was overly sweet and did not have any kind of zip to it at all. I took the drink back to the bar and got a gin and tonic. It was ok but if I ever go back here I will stick to beer and eat somewhere else.
I only go to Kaminski's for Friday happy hour. The drinks are inexpensive, the food is very good, and they usually have a great band on the patio. The crowd is mixed, baby boomers, and people of all ages. I live in Cherry Hill and it is definitely a Cherry Hill hangout. It's also a great place to bring a date after going out to a movie, etc.
Review Source:Met some friends at Kaminskis last night. Â Hated the place. The food was overpriced and mediocre. The waitresses were nice enough but looked more like they should be working at Hooters - very trashy in a sort of "Jersey Shore Snooky" kind of way. And I believe it's what the owners make them do - not necessarily how they want to present themselves. The lights inside are too bright - the tvs too many - the music really loud and again trashy and corny in that same "Jersey Shore" kind of way. If your idea of a good time is tan - gym- manicure- gold chains-crappy top ten radio hits blasting in your ear while you eat wings and drink cheap beer then knock yourself out!
Review Source:Good, old time bar food that has been going strong for a long time. I used to go here as a teenager  (over 30 years ago) and still consistently good. The roast beef sandwiches are very good and they have a fairly extensive menu. Lots of monitors and a great place to go for Sunday football.
Review Source:I'm mixed. After being driven out of PJ's by a horde of high school students, we landed here on a Tuesday night. We were seated outside on the patio. Some were eating, some just drinking.
I got myself the Asian Chicken Salad, the man forgoing the pile of fried food to have a chicken pita. The salad was huge, and came with no less than 6 chicken fingers on top. It seemed like they have a standard house salad base (five handfuls of romaine, three carrot slices, three cucumber slices, three tomato slices) and then just add on almonds and chicken and a side of sesame dressing. Fine, but not spectacular. Probably should have taken Jenna W's advice and just stuck to bar food!
The service was good, but the trivia started in the middle of the absurd 16-inning Phillies game, and involved primarily "Name the TV show/Movie that goes with this theme song" which, in my quizzo-snob opinion, is kind of a lazy way to do trivia.
Perhaps if we had just came to hang out and have some beers there would be more stars...
Kaminski's is the only place (depending on the time of day) you'll find senior citizens crowd around a free happy hour buffet, blue collared guys throwing back pints of Yuengling at the bar, and college kids or new grads doing shots of Cuervo outside on the patio. Â What a strange and cool place this is. Â More HDTV's than Best Buy so you won't miss any games. Â They always have the big fights (UFC or boxing) but I get annoyed when the DJ is spinning his "jersey shore" mix while I'm trying to see Manny Pacquiao knock someone unconscious. Â Great place to get a meal, get a few drinks in, watch some sports, and hangout with your friends.
Tip: Kaminski's is known for their roast beef sandwich. Â I like mines with provolone and horseradish...bangin!
Yay! I'm a fan!
Kaminski's has delicious & cheap food. The place is older, dark and plain old yummy. You can get anything from a buffalo chicken salad to a burger and seafood to pasta dishes. I'd stick with traditional bar food, because you really can't go wrong. I've had a few iffy dishes at Kaminski's when I tried to go for something fancy... so, stick with the basics.
The bar and nightlife aspect of this place is great. Kaminski's is always fun, the dj is always loud and on-point and the drinks are always flowing.
If you're a local or just visiting - I'd be sure to check out Kaminski's!
This is our spot to hang out and watch the Eagles and Phillies play. They have all the major fights and UFC.
This is a great place for happy hour drink specials and food speicals.
Try the quesadillas and Nachos /w corona specials on Mondays.
They probably have the best chili in the area also.
Another night not to miss is buy 12 get 12 wings for free night /w $2 coors light.
Try to get there before 7 or from 9-12. No specials between 7-9 :(
I loved it way back when (in the 90's it used to be a stomping ground for me and my friends at least once a week  when we went out every single night)  and even though I only go out once in a while now, this is still a great place to go. Â
Very pubby...very dark.....VERY good food...and always alot of fun. Â The eyes adjust a few minutes after you walk in but I do like the fact that it's darker - gives a more unique atmosphere and a great hideout. Â I could eat hundreds of their littlenecks (in garlic/butter sauce) all night. Â
They are also known for their roast beef sammys....very thin sliced great tasting beef with au jus and provolone and toasty crunchy rolls. Â A must try....(after you have an order of their littlenecks)
Yum.
Kaminski's is owned by the same people who have brought you Phily Diner, Hollywood Diner & Adelphia's. Â Their prices were alright; it set us back $25 for two HUGE lunch specials, a dozen wings and sodas. Â (Seriously, I brought three large Styrofoam containers back home and got two full meals out of my Monte Carlo.) Â
If you like the food at the above mentioned three restaurants, you'll like Kaminski's. Â It was decent and definitely worth checking out again. Â The staff was very friendly and prompt, which was a huge plus (we were running on a somewhat tight schedule).
The only odd thing is that the menu was sort of  like a diner, but in a bar.  Now, I've given Hollywood Diner great reviews, despite the fact that it's part diner, part bar....but Kaminski's had the 24-7 bar vibe going on, while Hollywood definitely keeps everything pretty well defined.  Oh, and the location was kind of weird.  I was actually quite surprised when I got the bag for our leftovers and found out they were owned by the Hollywood Diner/Adelphia's/Phily Diner management conglomerate.  Normally, their restaurants aren't in such strange, out of the way places.
All in all, it's worth eating there if you are in the area. Â I can't speak for the bar, but they seem to have some pretty decent specials. Â Try it.
IT'S TOO DARK IN THERE!!! literally, if you go there for lunch, be prepared for walking into utter darkness and fumbling your way around until your eyes adjust. and later on, you will get retinal damage from exiting into the daylight.
great lunch specials! great drinks! you can watch the game(s) there! nice staff! i have never had a bad time there or disliked my food but jeez, turn up those lights!
