Excellent beer selection. Someone in the Irish Mile organization knows craft beer. Sadly, they have not shared that information with the rest of the staff. The servers are generally clueless and just want you to quickly order a $3 Miller Lite, pound it, and order another by the time they make the next round at your table. The food is average at best. Typical Jersey sports bar fare: mozzarella sticks, jalapeño poppers, wings. Nothing special or particularly good. Place has potential, just doesn't seem to have the desire to achieved it.
Review Source:I'd driven by this place a few times, It seemed an odd space for a pub, but then again, all of Westmont's setup is a little strip mall-ish compared to more quaint Collingswood and Haddonfield, so I decided to stop by. The strength (and quite frankly surprise) is the extensive selection of beers on tap. More than any other South Jersey bar, and even many Philly beer bars, and most were very reasonably priced. That said, the place was understaffed, it takes a long time to get service, and the food is average, and be warned, no vegetarian sandwich options (though if you eat seafood, the crab cake is quite good). Haddon Township's downtown has transformed from dingy bars with little selection to a destination craft beer spot in South Jersey. For selection, the Irish Mile rises to the top, but for overall experience, the Pour House still is the place to beat.
