This place is really cute. The layout matches the name and is well decorated. There are table situated and elevated around the dance area so you can sit and still view the party. There are two full bars and the restrooms are clean. There are "mini stages" (if you will) on the dance floor if you feel the need to amp your partying a bit. There's an outdoor patio with couches as well so if you want a breather from the loud music, you can step out. Staff is friendly and the guys who valet our cars are hilarious and sweet.
Depending on the night determines crowd/turnout. Â This place would have gotten 4 stars from me - except every time I have come here, there were tons and tons of teeny boppers (most of whom were under 17 years old). Â Drinks are a bit pricey (e.g. $10/Patron shot).
Everytime i've had a bad time I just head to Bliss (Dallas) which usually starts hopping around 1am and has an older crowd.
What did I do to deserve such Karma? Â Great looking club, even more fantastic patio, tacky vibe. Â I understand the idea was to completely move away from the feel of its previous name, Blackberries, but really it just underwent a renovation. Â
For a few months after it's grand opening, it was a nice place to stop by especially during the Thursday happy hour, but it's slipped since then and it's just another typical club with it's regular (sometimes invisible) clubgoers. Â It's fallen into the horrible stereotype of the "place to be" club that just isn't a place you want to be. Â It's the place every typical clique comes to segregate themselves from others while only mingling with their group and still be able to call it going out. Â
If by some crazy chance of misfortune you find your way inside, just ask yourself what you may have done wrong in a former lifetime.
