Kenny's Ribs & Chicken

I was a Hugh fan of Kenny's!

They had great BBQ. I liked the short ribs. and the fries...oh, yummy fries with lots of mild sauce. They always had a special. Now, I am not going to lie, there wait was always something else...no matter if you were the only one there. About 2 years about this location closed, even thought I was told by my mom the Chicago locations should still be intact. I will try to find out and visit if there is a Kenny's still in Chicago.

I miss you Kenny's!

I love Kenny!   But my love has been dwindling and dwindling.    First, Kenny gets rid of the discount coupon card.   Next Kenny puts a sign up saying no more complimentary coleslaw.    On my last visit Kenny had me sitting for 30 minutes while the cashier and cook chatted it up like they were the only ones in the place.     The ceiling looks like it could fall in at any minute.    But damn Kenny you make a good sauce.

Sometimes the food is great, sometimes it is not.  We call this place Hit or Miss. This is for the rib tips only. Sauce is good.
