Almost midnight on a Saturday and we were the only people there. Anyways, the food was good. Kimchee tofu was super yummy, along with bulgogi beef and pork. I dont really like seafood, but a ton of previous reviews led me to order the seafood pancake and it was awesome. Ive been twice in the past 2 weeks.

You walk through an unassuming door..
Into what seems like a business office..
    Is this the right place?
Up some stairs.. guided by a 'KimSatGot' sign with symbols on it, one being a music note and one a cocktail.. Keep going forward...Through a black door and BAM you're in Korea.
A Korean drinking hole in Beaverton, OR?
    This place is the greatest!
The menu consists solely of Anju(meaning "food to be consumed with alcohol")on one side and all the drinks on the other. Hite beer and some salty chicken wings?!  Nuff said 5 stars.
If you're looking for 5star sober Korean food keep shopping..
    The food here is 5stars...
... When you're drunk... As you should be.
I write this review hungover in honor of the quirky, makes no sense, addictive KimSatGot..
    I will be back. Definitely.

I am head over heels in love with this place.

For starters, I love a good hole in the wall, especially one run by characters.  I dropped in here last night to be greeted with as many rowdy faces as were promised in other reviews.  A fridge complete with freezing cold Korean beer and shochu awaits.  Mmm almost nothing I love more that a good freezing Korean lager and some kick ass Korean fried chicken.  KimSatGot is run by my new favorite Portland business man.  I think he's the owner, but at the very least, the gentleman running the shop the night I went in was an unassuming and polite fella, who knows how to make one hell of a chicken wing.  I also loved the seafood pancake, but it's a fave for me, so no surprise there.

I could easily make this one of those stupid rambling reviews, but it would do no justice.  This might just be the best place in town to come get your krunk on.

Interiors are appropriately dark, scrappy, and creative for a place where you are being invited to get black out drunk.

The wings are killer, perfectly crisp as only Koreans seem to be able to do (rice flour is a miracle).....

Quite possibly my favorite new spot.

When the three of us arrived at the location at around 7:15 p.m. on a Saturday night we found the door locked even though the open sign was on.  My friend attempted to "kick" the door open and all the commotion we created finally got the owner's attention to unlock the door.  Since it was the first time here for all of us we didn't really know what expect.  The decor was funky but somehow worked for this place.  We were the only table for the next 2 1/2 hours which was great because after a couple of drinks of Soju, we needed the restaurant by ourselves because we were so loud!

We order five dishes: Dukbokki (spicy rice cakes), Mandoo (fried potstickers), beef bulgoggi, friend spring rolls, and seafood pancakes.  The dishes ranges from $5 - $7 and they were all fairly good sizes.  The Dukbokki was the unanimous favorite dish.  The rice cakes was called perfectly in the red chili sauce with fish cakes and noodles.  The salty, sweet, and spiciness of the Dukbokki was a perfect pairing when drinking.  The seafood pancake was good too especially for the price of $7.

Even though we didn't see any table until after 10 p.m., we had a lot fun because the place was very casual.  The owner even turned on the Korean MTV so we have entertainment.  Those sweet tasty pretzels he gave us with our drinks were delicious .  I would definitely go back to KimSatGot in the future!

*I believe Yelp has the business hours listed incorrectly.  It opens at 7 P.M., and not 7 A.M.

We did not know what to expect when we got here.
We did not expect the other tables to get all cray (yet ours did too......)
We were not anticipating to have emptied out several bottles of soju (pineapple and yogurt flavors)
We were not anticipating to also have emptied out several big bottles of Hite beer.
We were not anticipating the food to be served so slow, yet the people were so friendly and kind.
We were not anticipating that the place was only run by an elderly couple (yay to mom and pop shops!)
We were not anticipating to have yummy Korean food (i.e. seafood pancake, chicken wings, bulgogi)

BUT we were anticipating to be drunk at the end of the night.
AND we did not expect to make a drive to McDonald's for Big Macs later into the night.

OVERALL: We did not anticipate to have SO MUCH FUN! Cheers to good times (or memories we have of it!) Highly recommend this place for a late night hang out with the buddies and drinks!

***Disclaimer: Soju brings out too much fun in an individual(s). Don't drink and drive! Please have a designated driver (DD) available!***

I'm into it! So excited to have this funky little spot in Beaverton since there isn't much late night action out here.

We had soju with pineapple and a big bottle o' Hite. Beef bulgogi was kind of bland but we added hot sauce and could have ordered spicy. Seafood and green onion pancake was super crunchy when it was fresh and so yummy but got a little soggy after it sat because it was jam packed with seafood and onions. We also had the fish jerky and assorted snacks which came with some generic snack mix, nori strips, and shrimp fries. Crispy gyoza were nothing out of the ordinary but tasted good to me. Kimbap was a miss, I found it very dry and bland. Ended up ordering some of the fried chicken wings too, seemed pretty standard. The food might not be worthy of 4 stars but it's cheap and goes perfect with the soju and beer. We were the only non-Asians in the place but still felt very welcome.

Loved the decor and crazy music videos. It's really nice to have another late night option close to home.

First time having a girls' night there at Korean bar, I like the mood, food, and anju! Cham e sul was only ten bucks. OB pitcher was about thirteen bucks! I would go there again!! It's not populated though....
