Really, really disappointing. We tried several dishes and all of the containers were filled with mostly onions. The beef chow mein was terrible, literally a box of onions with a few oddly skinny pieces of beef. The crispy noodles were some sort of cracker like material, nothing like crispy noodles we're used to. Big disappointment, we were hoping to have found a good Chinese food place in the area. Also, no delivery on a Friday night.
Review Source:I had the stomach flu, so I bought pedialyte at the Jewell-Osco next door. Then, I bought plain white rice at this restaurant. My total was $1.08 and I was out in under 2 minutes. I felt better the next day.
There are 3 booths here and one table, so up to 16 people can dine-in at the same time. The photo of the egg foo young looked good, even in my digestively addled state.
The Lunch Specials are bountiful and CHEAP at $ 4.95. Â All specials come with your choice of egg roll or soup and white or pork fried rice. I've never had a problem if I want extra sauce or veggie rice, in fact the last time I was in, they offered and made me a special sauce for my crab rangoon. (I'm not a fan of the cherry sauce that comes with it) Â The sesame chicken is out of this world great! Â Definately recommend. Â Real good bang for your buck. Just down from the Jewel store.
