Based on the very friendly customer service I received from Chef Rick, I would highly recommend Kingston's Jerk Chicken.   He was absolutely wonderful.

Sweet reggae music, tender, fall-off-the-bone chicken and pleasant service. The Jerk Chicken is slightly spicy and smokey sweet: Wings are to DIE for. Caribbean rice and warm slaw sets the meat off perfectly.  Welcome, small selection of bottled, flavored sodas; Lordy, I love my flavored pop!

$11 for their All White Jerk Chicken (meat only/easily feeds 2) with add-ons like Plantain, Mac and cheese, etc. available...or you can get one of their plates that includes 3 sides. The Quarter Dark Jerk Chicken Lunch Special with rice, bread, slaw, sauce and a can of pop/bottle of water is currently $5.89. (Mon-Fri) A STEAL!

Tropical-flavored menu includes BBQ and Jerk options for red snapper, catfish, shrimp, oxtail and uhh goat. lolz   Veggie patties, salads, vegetable platter and other vegetarian-friendly choices here, so there's something for everyone.. Few freshly-baked cookies and cake slices if you feel your tooth gettin' sweet.

    Super casual...Several tables with fresh flowers for dining in, but take out is available; This seems to be the most popular option. I dined in and enjoyed the reggae;
    Slappin' da bass, mon....

    Definitely gonna jerk more often!

This restaurant is located in Chicago's Beverly neighborhood. Since parking is expensive,it is recommended that you park  for free across the street in Border's parking lot.

The jerk chicken is delicious. If you go to 20 different Jamaican restaurants, each restaurant will cook jerk chicken 20 different ways. In this case, the jerk chicken is very tender. The meat easily came off the bone and it was delicious.

Since everybody is trying to make a dollar out of 15 cents in this rough economy, the prices are very economical. You can get a lunch meal for $4.

There are not that many tables in the restaurant but they do have a website <a href="/redir?url=http%3A%2F%2Fkingstonsjerkchickenchicago.com%2F&s=ba9883d5075a68f91dc1f2ba3301af28ea81ece522b8ec744b62686e6c2b0e6e" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">http://kingstonsjerkchic…</a> so that you can order carryout. By the way, the food is cooked to order.

For those who are adventurous, I recommend that you try the DG Old Jamaican Ginger Beer. It has a spicy ting yet very delicious.By the way, it is a non-alcoholic drink.

This is one of my favorite Caribbean restaurants in Chicago and  I am definitely a fan.

Love this place. I wish it were closer to my home because I would go more often. Jerk chicken, cabbage, and rice & peas are always on point! Jerk sauce amazing and not too hot! Plaintains always nice and ripe, fresh, and delish! Beef patties are good too!

Hey all! I had a couple of veggie patties, plantain, cabbage and rice and peas from this gem of a restaurant. Everything was OMG delish-E-oso!!!
None of the above was prepared with meat and the price was out of sight! Park over in Border's lot & walk over if street parking is not available. They accept debit, credit and of course cash. The place is quaint, the people are friendly. You have got to try this place!

    OMG! This place is fantastic!
Their oxtail was soft, delicious and fell right off the bones. Both their Jerk and BBQ chicken was finger licking good. Rice and beans were served up with a thick slice of white bread to soak up the gravy.
We devoured most of our food there...took the rest home, finished it off that night..and I was craving it the next..
    Can't wait to go back!

Delicious jerk catfish and the sides are all yummy--plantains, rice and beans, cabbage. Pleasant and prompt service.
