Although this place is called a Bakery, it's a bit of a misnomer.  It may have started out with traditional bakery fare but my guess is that over time they've transitioned into café-style restaurant that caters to the lunch crowd. It's a very small and does not have any tables. Instead, they've set up bar-style seating along the 3 exposed walls. It's hard for me to describe but you'll instantly understand if you go there.
This place is a great spot to grab a quick cheap lunch. They have tons of sandwich items for under $5 and a great lunch special.  The lunch special includes  a choice of 1 protien and two sides. I got chicken with rice, beans and salad (for $1.00) extra. The food was very good and the spicy salsa was a nice addition. I wasn't paying attention but I am pretty sure my entire meal was under $6.
Overall = A good spot for a nice, quick, cheap & tasty lunch.
I tried the Bandeja Paisa , a big platter of various Colombian items - carne asada, chicharron, a fried egg, an arepa, avocado, plantains and rice, and it was very tasty!! also tried the morcilla (blood sausage) and that was delicious. I have visited Colombia twice and the food here seems authentic and good!! this is a casual restaurant and bakery in a strip mall. restaurant is clean, staff are friendly. Â I tried one of the bakery items, a sort of Colombian version of a cannoli filled with arequipe (like caramel), it was quite tasty also.. Â prices are reasonable and the people who work here are very friendly - I will be back!!
