La Cava

I go to La Cava at least once a week. The food is incredible and the service is friendly and attentive. Easily my favorite Italian restaurant in the valley despite the stiff competition. Some of my favorite dishes are the Insalata di Gamberi (shrimp and arugula salad), the Caesar  (best I've ever had), the polenta with mushrooms, all of the pizzas, the lasagna, the Penne Regina, the grilled prawns, the chicken parm... you really can't go wrong here.

This is one of my favorite Italian places in the valley. The food is something you will end up craving for weeks to come. The service is good too. As can be expected it is a little pricey but perfect for those special occasions. I also wish the tables were a little bigger! Highly recommended y'all!

All I can say is that for a fine Italian restaurant, they do not know how to make a pizza. My wife called it the chef boyardee pizza and tasted right out of the can. The Caesar salad was plain and nothing special kinda reminded me of the cafeteria salad in college. The bread was a thin pizza crust style which could be greatly improved. There are many better choices within a mile and I would pick accordingly.
