All in all; I feel most sorry for the Mexican people that work at this restaurant, who try to peddle wares that are far from authentic Mexican food. The only thing authentic about this restaurants fare is the fresh cilantro in the salsa (the only thing that my boyfriend and I actually enjoyed). Â This place is a run of the mill Mexican American disaster. Â Go to El Camino Real if you want a real taste of Mexico, coming from someone who grew up by the border, west of Texas.
Review Source:Hands down my favorite Mexican restaurant in the Triad, and that's saying something. I have yet to find anything about this place that I don't love, even after coming here regularly for years. Awesome chips and salsa (a must), fast and friendly service, and always a very satisfying meal! They don't mess around with portions.. Even when ordering a grilled chicken quesadilla your order will be overflowing with large pieces of real grilled chicken. The best Spanish rice. And of course, you can never do wrong with a nice jumbo margarita!
