Arizona Pete's

Nice sized dance floor, friendly bartenders, and a young, fun line dance community. I used to drive from Durham to hang out with them on weekends on a regular basis and always enjoyed myself. They attract some good music acts on a fairly regular basis and don't charge an arm and a leg for tickets.

disclaimer:  i've only been here once and it was on a Wednesday night when the bar is only open until 10pm.  i'm not a local, but was invited by an employee of the bar to check it out.

we were treated well despite feeling a little out of place (myself from SF, one friend from LA and another from Minnesota).  the bartender was cute and super friendly.  despite being near closing time, she served us repeatedly and was again, sweet as the sweet tea.

i can't speak for Arizona Pete's on a busy night but I get the impression that it would be a fun place if a country bar, with mechanical bull and dance floor is your style.
