Lake View House

My sister and I went there for dinner one Friday Evening.  It was about 5:30 which we figured was a great time to go.  My sister cannot stand too long due to her condition and for some reason we waited forever to be seated, I finally had to track the hostess down!   I would've given 5 stars if it wasn't for that and the fact that our check took forever when we were ready to leave.  OIY!!!  The food, however was great.  The salad was just ok.  I ordered the Seshuan pasta and it sounded so good that my sister ordered it too.   Fabulous.  I want to go there just to have that again.  Bravo to the cook!

I had dinner at the bar on Saturday evening.  The barter was very friendly and the service was very good.  
The atmosphere was casual - with a nice view of the lake.

I had an oysters Rockefeller appetizer that was excellent.  Big oysters with lots of spinach and cheese.  
For the main course I had a grilled salmon, with mixed vegetables.  The salmon was large and had a great texture.  

All in all a great local place, I would go back.

Awesome bar. Excellent food - we are local and you will not go wrong with the Calamari. They do steak here very well. They always have Oysters.

Service is sometimes spotty, but the food and ambiance always make up for it. Desserts are damn good, too.

So, come here. It will be a good night. Or lunch. Or drink.
