I ordered the 20 ounce Landshark Lager draft for a 1.50 upcharge. No problem, except the beer came in a clear plastic solo cup that DID NOT look to be 20 ounces. When we confronted the waiter about it, he told us the cup is just very wide. Yeah, right. Sounded like he was feeding us a line. Check the bottom of the cup(because all plastic cups will tell you the size of the cup at the bottom); 16 ounces. We knew we we're right. We confronted a manager, he said it's 16 ounces up to a certain line on the cup(which was very near the top) and that they filled it all the way to the top for us. Doesn't matter, the cup says how much it can hold to full capacity, not to a certain point. The manager said he would take off a little bit from the check. Ok, I guess. Even though what they did was absolutely illegal. I'm not one to press issues and demand things though. I ordered my burger medium. Comes out cooked all the way through. Whatever, I'm starving; I eat it with no complaints. Check comes, they take off 5.00 dollars after two "20" ounce beers were ordered and one upgraded "20" ounce margarita which comes at an extra 3 dollars for the "upgrade". Long story short, they tried to swindle us, then tried to give us a line about how their cups are shaped weird, then the manager tried to tell us he would take off all extra charges; he did not. This is not even mentioning the hair we found on the side of the margarita and on my burger basket(both of which we didn't even mention to the server or manager). Â We did not make a scene, we paid and left. I should report this place as we took pictures of the cup and the writing on the bottom.
Review Source:This place is what you make of it. Its a nice big bar/restaurant on the beach. The food items are more limited than in a regular restaurant, but better than any of the other beach bars in AC.
The ocean side deck has fans and is pretty cool and shaded after 2:00 ish.
Live music every time I've been here. Maybe this is the only place in AC where I'm lucky.
The apps I would rate as above average bar food. After all, its a bar. What do you expect? But the fish sandwich and the fish tacos were great.
Decent beer choices. But I was slightly offended with the poorly made margarita at a Jimmy Buffet restaurant. Way too much sour mix. If you want to taste the tequila, maybe try ordering at the bar.
Complete nightmare!!!
We arrived with 24 people, 2 tables of 12. After waiting an hour for our table, we were sat under an ac vent that was dripping on the table. We would have needed an umbrella. The girl said wait so I can dry the chairs. 2 tables next to us said , they were sat there too but the water was dripping in their food. Complete health violation. Another 20 minutes to find another table.we then finally ordered, waitress was so nice. After another hour food was still not out. We arrived there at 705pm and walked out without eating at 945pm.
Went to trump taj and ate in their dinner, that was great!
My husband and I were exicted to check this place out. We've been to two Margaritavilles already (Key West and Myrtle Beach). When we arrived, we thought that there was a long wait for a table but that was only if you were coming to eat. We were only interested in drinks and there were two empty chairs at the bar. Great timing! We both ordered virgin pina coladas because we were craving them. They were tasty BUT the bartender gave them to us in kiddie cups???! I don't know if he was trying to be funny! : Whatever! The frozen drinks here are about $10 because they charge tax on them but they are NOT weak! The 2nd time we came here, I ordered TWO Bahama  Mamas (and tater tots with cheese sauce) and I was feeling NICE! :D Overall, an OK experience.
Review Source:Very disappointed...
First of all, the hostess sat us outside at a well known by staff broken table, and just dropped the menus on the table. Â We were directed by a friendly waitress to go back to the hostess' desk to be re-seated. Â
Once reseated, I ordered a Bahama Breeze. Â Instead of receiving a nice tropical glass and garnish, I got an ugly plastic cup with chocolate drizzle. Â It tasted awful as well. Â Our appetizer of pretzel bites were soggy and very salty.
The only positive was our server, Tony W, Â He was very friendly and accomodating. Â Was glad we paid for the check with our winnings from Revel! Â We will not spend our own money there again!
Was not able to enter survey at <a href="/redir?url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.tellmargaritaville.com&s=05453a9f4d1211a07bd49f980cd3f188af939fb43343e9721ebe09090fec3975" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">http://www.tellmargarita…</a> and was not able to contact the restaurant thru their site.  Was left to share my experience here!
This is a new Jimmy Buffet semi-tiki bar and grill they recently opened in AC. Not to be confused with Margaritaviile across the boardwalk. Â The bar itself is in an enclosed area, however there is also table seating in a semi-outdoor tiki bar setting that can be closed off with tent flaps during bad weather. Therefore, they are still open rain or shine unlike the other tiki bars in AC. Â My biggest problem with this place is price. They charge about $5 just for a can of Domestic beer and close to $10 for any mixed drink. The first time I was there, I just wanted a virgin pina colada for $4.75 and the male bartender working had a rude smirk on his face when giving me my drink. I almost didn't want to tip the jerk. Service here is generally slow, however their food orders almost arrive too fast making me believe that it's not exactly fresh. I also did get very sick after having their tator tots and dip. I would stay away from their food. They do seem to have solo musicians doing shows on a nightly basis, but can't even see the person performing from the bar itself. Â At other times they play a lot of carribean style country music and a little rock too. Â Many of the patrons there seem to be the rich snobby types, at least when I was there. One girl kept staring at my food and beer the entire time my wife and I were there and seemed to be very nosey into our conversation while with her boyfriend. I guess he wasn't entertaining her enough. They both seemed very snobbish too. I honestly dont know how long this place will last considering their ridiculously high drink prices in today's failing economy. Â I saw in other reviews that it was crowded in the past, but who's to say how many will actually return once it isn't new anymore. It may be worth coming for a couple of drinks, but there are other places in AC with much better drink specials and prices. AC is really struggling right now, and this place won't last unless they start realizing they need to be more competitive with their prices compared to similar places. Keep in mind Mountain Bar inside Bally's and Picalili Pub have $2 domestic beers and it is just as fun!
Review Source:After a rough start (I sent my first burger back because it was burnt) this place delivered. The second burger came out quickly. I ordered the Pacific burger and it didnt disappoint.  It was done just right and full of juice. The sauce was spicy but especially nice. The cheese curds with blueberry ketchup was also  a very tasty start. Washed it down with a Bahama mama and all is good in my world for 90 minutes. Atmosphere is great right on the beach and our server, Minya or Alayna was extreme friendly courteous...simply outstanding.  I will be back. A must experience place on a nice day or summer night. Do yourself a favor stop in, eat up and relax.
Review Source:Major kudos to Resorts A/C for their recent upgrades and new Margaritaville-themed bars and restaurants. Â Much of the upgrades are within the casino itself, yet the Landshark Bar & Grill is newly constructed across the boardwalk and right on the beach.
I stopped in for drinks 'only' and will have to update in the future for the food (the menu has the look/feel of chain restaurant). Â The positives include a great view of the ocean, access directly from the beach, and indoor/outdoor (canopied) seating that makes for an all-year-round environment. They have occasional live music which I always like to see, although the high ceilings make it a little boomy sounding. The restaurant has been VERY busy since opening, so it's a little chaotic in there. But I feel that Landshark Bar & Grill will work through the growing pains and give the A/C crowd another optional place to party.
(Went on 7/5/2013) The reason I am giving it a three is because of the location and the friendly service I had while I was there. The food essentially was overpriced bar food, yet not as greasy as one would expect. The mixed drinks were pricey, but definitely not lacking in alcohol. I would go back again, but probably just for drinks and to spilt an appetizer. We sat on the deck on a relatively humid day; it was made enjoyable by the nice ocean breeze. Overall, nice place to have a few drinks, snack on something small and enjoy the company of friends and family.
Review Source:Since we visited Landshark on the Saturday after the 4th of July, we were expecting a wait. We went to the bar, grabbed some yummy pina coladas, and stood on the steps near the beach and talked while we waited. Once we were seated, I ordered the fish sandwich and my husband ordered the Cuban sandwich. Both were really good. It took a little while to get additional drinks after we were seated, but that and music that was a little too loud were my only complaints.
Review Source:From reading reviews posted 3 wks. since my bad experience @ Landshark, it doesn't seem like anything has improved. Â The restaurant was closed (for food) @ 10 p.m. on a summer weekend; you could only drink after that time. Â (In a casino town??) The next nite, around 8 p.m., I was told there would be a 45 min. wait because "the kitchen had gotten backed up and they weren't seating anyone at all." (!!) I took a walk and came back because I did want to try it. Â Had a nice table outside, but they were out of absolutely EVERYTHING I ordered. Â My 4th drink choice finally was available, and came warm in a plastic cup for over $8. Â My 1st two dinner choices were supposedly sold out and I ended up with a hot dog whose bun had turned soggy sitting in the pickle juice in the bottom of the basket. Â I was so excited for Resorts to have this signature restaurant as an additional dining choice, but I'm afraid I won't be back. FWIW, Margaritaville has an almost identical menu, instead of giving the patrons some other food options. Â I was very disappointed.
Review Source:Great location on the loveliest, seedy boardwalk, the AC boardwalk. Not half bad, friendly waitress, not so friendly manager; would have been four stars had it not been for her snarl at my friend. No need for anger, to be the bigger person I'll talk about the positives. Food was very tasty -- good burgers and chicken sandwiches -- and decent beer selection. Lively beach bar crowd, baking under the sun, reasonably priced that you can still afford even after leaving the casino losing a ton.
Review Source:On a recent trip to AC, I stopped into the Landshark Bar & Grill with the hopes of spotting the illustrious Courtney G, but she was probably too busy sharing our concerns with the team, and I left without making her acquaintance.
Landshark Bar & Grill has the best view on the Boardwalk, and you actually forget you are in AC. I was happy to see they brought the live music back, and the musicians playing both times I stopped in were very good. Like others have mentioned they did not have Landshark on tap, so I had to "settle" for a Sam Summer. The beer was served nice and cold, but unfortunately in a plastic cup. They are probably nervous about having glass so close to the beach, so I understand. Prices were about what you would expect given the location.
My blackened fish sandwich was surprisingly good, with just the right amount of heat. I would have went with 4 stars, but the service on both occasions was very sloppy and inattentive. All of the staff were friendly but they seemed to be very overwhelmed, and in need of some direction / leadership (Steer the ship Courtney G!!!). All in all I enjoyed both of my visits and although there is room for improvement, I will be back next time I am in town.
I love Jimmy Buffet. Â I love Landshark. Â I love the beach. Â Put these things together, and one would think that you'd have the Landshark Bar & Grill. Â Well, not quite yet here at their newest location. Â
First of all, there was no Landshark on draft at the Landshark Bar & Grill during either of my two visits here. Â And after reading previous reviews, I'm not sure if there ever has been. Â How do you not have the beer you're named after on draft?!
The atmosphere here is great and definitely bumped my review up one star. Â There was live music during both of my visits, which I really enjoyed. Â The outdoor seating is worth the slightly longer wait time, with great views of the beach and a nice breeze coming in off the water. Â
As for the service, it's clear that they are still working out some kinks. Â The hostesses seemed to be a little overwhelmed/confused. Â The one hostess inside really seemed like she did not want to be bothered. Â Both of our servers were friendly, but service was slow. Â
I ate the blackened fish sandwich and it was surprisingly good. Â I think once this place gets through its growing pains, it will be a great spot.
While the food admittedly isn't anything to write home about, and it can get crowded with long wait times, some of the staff can be very helpful, and it is difficult to top the excellent outdoor view of the beach and ocean -- we had the good fortune of seeing dolphins jumping around in the ocean from our seaside view during lunch on a mostly sunny day, and when you consider the promotional credit you can get for the nearby Resorts hotel and casino, it's a great option.
Review Source:This place is horrible and overpriced. Â Service was chaotic at best. Â Food was average....$13 burgers and $8 pints of beer. Â The bar is tiny can't keep up with the restaurant. Â We witnessed multiple customers complain.
Draft beers listed at $5.50 & $6 in menu were $8 on our bill. Â When I asked the slow barmaid why, she said the price listed is for 12oz and she gave us 20oz. Â Who serves 12oz drafts anyways?!? Â Menu doesn't say anything about size....
I don't recommend this place or the nasty Margarittaville inside. Â Tacky and cheesy with bad food and limited beer selection.
Im a little surprised about all the negative reviews, I was pretty happy with my meal.  We sat by the bar because we didnt want to wait the thirty minutes to sit outsite but  we still had a nice view. My boyfriend was very happy with his grilled mahi mahi sandwich. I ordered the turkey club and it was also pretty good. Reasonably priced. A bit better then a Fridays or Applebees in my opinion, basically the same thing with a view.  I would go again.
Review Source:It took them 30 minutes to seat me even though there were lots of empty tables in the place. Â Then I waited 40 minutes for my food, and I swear that other people were served before me even though they were after me in line! Â The burger and fries was lukewarm and deserved to go in the garbage disposal. Â I will never be back again.

Told an hour wait, place was half full. Â 15 minutes later our table is ready. Â If we were in a hurry we would have went somewhere else. Â how many people did go somewhere else? Â Took 15 minutes for waiter to come to table. Â Wings come out cold. Â Entrees come out 10 minutes later. Â The soap dispensers in bathroom aren't even hanging on the walls.
I know it's a new place but get things together.
While not a big fan of Jimmy Buffett's music, his restaurants are so much fun and the atmosphere in them are just like his songs and concert atmosphere; you wanna wear flip flops and get tipsy on delicious concoctions.
When I heard that Mohegan Sun was taking over the management of Resorts in Atlantic City, and part of their plan was to bring Margaritaville to the boardwalk, I was quite excited. Â Mohegan Sun has a Margaritaville in their complex; I have also visit two other of this Jimmy Buffett chain in Las Vegas and Myrtle Beach, as well as a Landshark Bar & Grille also in Myrtle Beach.
There are both a Margaritaville and a Landshark Bar & Grille at Resorts, both being separate restaurants. Â If you ask me, the Landshark Bar & Grille is the centerpiece of the Margaritaville complex. Â Located on the beach side of the world-famous Atlantic City boardwalk, the big restaurant features a bar and seating inside and outside, with the outside patrons being a few hundred feet from the Atlantic Ocean.
I went the 3rd week in June, and it was mobbed on both Sunday and Monday. Â Now I went alone to check out this place.
First off, the atmosphere on an 85-degree Summer day could not be better. Â Lots of energy, Jimmy Buffet music in the background, and the waves crashing while people were tipping back drinks and gobbling up food.
But unfortunately, the beautiful weather made for a big line. Â I could've waited 15-20 minutes for table for 1, but they said seating around the bar and the tables right next to it were open seating. Â So I went over, found a seat, and sat down. Â And waited. Â ... Annnnnd waited. Â A server passed me twice to two tables behind me. Â More than 10 minutes passed, and I was never served, even though I made plenty of direct eye contact with the server. Â This was disappointing.
I moved to an open seat the bar, where service by the bartender was a bit better. Although quite busy, he acknowledged me and was a few minutes longer. Â Finally he served me, got me a drink fast (a Bahama Mama), and I put my food order in. Â At the bar, the bartender refilled my drinks fast and also tended the check fast as well.
The food itself was pretty good. Â The Bahama Mamas were amazing! Â YUMMY is the correct word for these. I also got a Chipotle burgher with Chipotle Ketchup and Mayo on it. Â I couldn't really taste the condiments that well, but the burger was cooked medium like I asked. Â The fries were really good too!
The price was $51.42 for 3 drinks and the meal, included tax and tip. Â That may sound like a bit but those concoctions are mixed drinks and I believe standard pricing in the chains of Jimmy Buffet.
Although busy and a few kinks need to be worked out, I will be back again in August and highly recommend it. Â Its supposed to be open year-round, and this atmosphere is what the boardwalk has been missing for many years.
There were at least 4 tables inside the restaurant ready and we still weren't called for another 20 minutes. A lot of staff milling around doing nothing, one circled around the place with no purpose, and front desk just looked confused about how to seat people. This place needs a senior manager walking around making sure things are moving along smoothly. The entire staff consists of HS and college kids with no real experience. It's really not that hard to fill empty tables with customers.
After we waited an hr to be seated, the food took another 20 minutes. And then of course we had no silverware and no napkins. It was faster for us to just get up and grab some on our own than wait for someone to come. The whole thing is a disaster.
Towards the north side of the boardwalk, this place definitely has some potential. Just get a senior manager to go in there and fix it up and it'll be good. Someone needs to be there shepherding the staff.
I have to say overall i dont think i would ever go back to Landshark. Aside from the great location there was nothing good about it. we ordered a round of 4 drinks that all came out less than 2/3rds full. The server said because there so strong that they cant fill them. Then get smaller glasses or fill my cup. we recieved our food after 45 min only to wait 15 more min for silverware by then my food was cold. we also didnt recieve our second round of drinks untill after we were done. 2 round in almost an hour and a half.... crazy. Food quality was ok no complaints other than the amount of time and the absoloutly horrible service without as much as an im sorry.
so
1. deathly slow service
2. very long wait for drinks that were not even close to full.
3. no silverware. who serves food with no silverware ..u ask for it and they dont come back i had to go to the back and get it myself after 20 min!
4. rude staff.
i love atlantic city ive lived in northfield my entire life. i can honestly say it was the worst ecperience ive had at a resturant in ac. never coming back.
--- u should know that ive never written a review online about any place anywhere so for me to do this. u know it was horrible. .

While this is a really cool place to grab a lunch or dinner on the beach--it is slightly over-priced and the wait-staff seems inconsistent. Â We were able to grab a seat outside and have a beautiful view of the beach and ocean for our dinner. Â We ordered our drinks (M got the 5'O'Clock Somewhere and K got the loaded Landshark). Â M's drink was perfect for the setting, while the loaded landshark should have been served with a glass and a lime!! Â We ordered food there as well (Resorts had a promotion where you got a $20 credit to the casino if you purchased dinner at one of their restaurants). Â M got the Jalapeno burger and K got the chef salad. Â The burger was solid bar food--it had a nice kick to it. Â The chef salad was average, but it was a large serving. Â Out waiter seemed like he was struggling through the night and was inattentive, but apologetic...however, we viewed another waitress that was very attentive to her customers....luck of the draw I guess :) ! Â Overall, a great place to grab some beers and decent food--but there are SOOOO many other good food choices in the area that I would do lunch or dinner somewhere else!!
Review Source:The atmosphere right on the water, seated outside was wonderful. Â Came on a Friday afternoon and there was no wait. Â Our server was not that nice. Â I'd name her, but I think that's tacky to do on here. Â It seemed like we were bothering her although she did frequently check in to see if we needed anything. Â The Cuban sandwich was great. Â The chips and dip appetizer has this addicting queso cheese sauce. Â Get a margarita.....a pink cadillac I think it was called. Â Our party tried a couple of different ones and some are better than others.
Review Source:Overall, very nice. Â Pros: as other reviewers noted, the staff is great. Â We asked to be seated outside, and the first table was close enough to the inside area where you could still hear the recorded music competing with the (very good) live music outside. Â Annoying, at best. Â We got moved to great seats by a heater immediately. Â The food was great; fish tacos tasty and Mac 'n cheese was quite good on its own and the generous lobster put it over the top. Cons: No real vegetarian option. Â Come on, folks! Â I see Margaritaville across the boardwalk has a veggie burger. Â Can it be that hard to add at least one option for vegetarians?
Review Source:Didnt have a very good experience here. We get there and were told we had a thirty minute wait and the place was one third full. We specifically ordered broiled oysters with garlic and melted Parmesan. The menu stated broiled and they came Luke warm raw with semi melted parm cheese. When you say broiled they should come to the table piping hot. I ordered the lobster Mac and cheese which did have huge pieces of lobster in it but was only hot on the very bottom. My husbands burger was ok and my friend ordered the Cuban sandwich which he states was ok and hot. Negatives were - very limited menu. They serve no vegetable or sides except for French fries, tater tots, or sweet potatoe fries. They serve a half of roasted chicken which I would of ordered but it was served with fries. Food is mediocre at best. TGIF, Applebee's, even Chili's would of been enjoyed better. They have no soup on the menu but have sandwiches and salads. Because my oysters were returned I didn't get them until the end of the meal and didnt really want them anymore and felt they should of been removed from the check and they weren't. I didn't ask for them to be removed. It should of just been done considering we received at the end of our main course!
Positives- service was extremely good. Hostess was nice, greeter was very nice and complimented my stuffed animal that I won on the boardwalk. Server was extremely friendly and sincerely apologuised.
We stopped in here opening day for a couple drinks and some food. Â Aside from being beachfront, it's not much different from your typical corporate run bar and grill, especially since this theme is used at 26 other locations worldwide. Â After all, Margaritaville is the most lucrative song of all time, with all the expanded franchise deals with its name.
Inside, you will find a gift shop, a bar and dining area. Â Outside, there is a lot of seating for customers to enjoy the seaside air. Â They also had live music, and I expect live entertainment would be regular at this business, considering the Jimmy Buffet theme. Â As of it's opening, this venue is being communicated as Atlantic City's only seaside bar that will be open year round.
The Margaritaville theme continues into the boardwalk side of the Resorts casino with additional dining, bars and gaming.
In terms of food and beverage, you get exactly what you'd expect at a corporate run bar and grill. Â Plenty of fried and American food. Â Everything was of good quality, but nothing amazing. Â We had the tater tots, cheese curds, and Philly Cheesesteak. Â We found some of the side sauces complimented the food nicely.
Service was very good. Â Our server was nice, checked in often, and was almost overly apologetic for doing a good job.
If you're in the area, it's worth a stop in for a Landshark, seasonal beer, or margarita, but there's nothing beyond expectations about the establishment.
