Las Tres Hermanas

1 star for being a divey diner with duct taped booths
1 star for the tube tv being on the a show called "Gun Talk" and a friendly waiter

Ambiance can only hold so many stars.
When it came to the food and food quality for what was being paid for...a big dry disappointment.

I ordered a combo platter (#11) with chicken.
And it saddens me when I say it was hard to eat it. Just...blah. Like it was cooked much earlier in the day and dried out until I ordered it.

Others at my table had equal or slightly better experiences.
Luckily Highwood has  many other options I'll take a gander at next time.
Pity, too, because I love Mexican food.

Great little authentic mexican restaurant!  Ate here during the Highwood Pumpkin Fest and I would definitely come back! The service was great, the food was even better and the price was just right!

Came here Saturday night during the Highwood Pumpkin Fest.  We sat outside (not a great idea because of the weather) but it was a great idea because we got very prompt service and we got to see the dogs walking by in their costumes from the Pet Costume Contest.  Every 3 minutes or so I looked over my shoulder after hearing Ashley go "Ohhh!! Awww!!"

I had the chicken tacos dinner, Ashley had the chicken burritos dinner.  Both were delicious.  The salsa and chips starter is great; very hot free salsa is a wonderful thing.

The service was great and so was the food.  There are other, closer Mexican restaurants that I like, but if I'm in Highwood and want Mexican food, I will be sure to go there again!
