This club is pretty far for me since I live off of the G train in Brooklyn, but I came out for my friend's birthday. The doorman was pretty friendly and the bar had balloons on the ceiling and strobe lights and a large dance floor, so I was pleasantly surprised. I was there on a Thursday night, so it wasn't as packed as it might be on a weekend night, but the DJ was on point (I thought anyway) and the hookah was a nice touch. I want to go back when it's super packed!

What can I say... I have mix feelings about Le Boy.  I'm glad that it exists.  The area has significantly changed and the demand for a social space for gays and gay friendly folks has increased.  That said,  I am often disappointed with my experience at Le Boy.  The place is often so packed that you can't move.  Entrepreneurs!!! This is a good sign that you may want to open up a business that caters to gays.  The music is OKAY... Would not say that it is great and it should be great!  The bartenders are what they should be, very handsome but often unfriendly.  Don't understand why this has to be the case...  Be nice to people and they'll buy more drinks.  It's so difficult to purchase drinks.  Not good! Here's my other issue, I feel that the place should cater to heteros and tourists.  I feel like the crowd is often the same.  Keep things diverse and spicy : )

Le boy is a nice place very fun. I'm straight but I like to come with my girls to chill and have some fun which is perfect when you're not in the mood to have men all over you with intensions of getting with you. The staff is friendly and so are the people that come here. Music is good they have a little bit of everything as well and the go-go dancers r usually GOOD looking ! And they take pics with u if u ask them to

This place is too small and overrated. Not worth going to this place. don't even deserve a star... smh @ this place I'm surprised @ the positive reviews I'm convinced those ratings are from the owners.

I've been to better clubs in the city and it is not worth traveling to.

I like this place. It's a bit of a trek for me since I live in Bed Stuy, but it's well worth the travel and better than No Parking in my opinion since it has an actual dance floor. I've came here a few times and always had fun and danced for hours. I like the lady who works in the bathroom and doles out candy and hands you paper towels for a little tip. Never had any problems with security guards. I like that they offer hookah, as that seems to extend my buzz a little bit longer. Drinks are ok, not that strong but I tend to pre-game and go out and guzzle my own booze from the liquor store down the street.

Overall, I'd recommend this place if you're into Latin music and cute guys.

Le Boy is a Le Waste of Time!

Some friends and I went on a Saturday night around midnight, very excited to go to a gay bar in the area.  We should have turned around as soon as the Security Guard gave us a dirty look as we opened the door.  He told us to get our ID's and let the door shut on us.  He couldn't be bothered to open it back up.  Once inside we were bombarded to sign some mailing list thing.  The place was empty until about 1:00am.  Then it was impossible to move.  The drinks were fine. The bartenders weren't cute.  The music was painfully loud (and I love loud music).  My hearing was jacked up for 2 days after.  The Security Guards were unbelievably rude.  One came and yelled at us that we were not allowed to lay our jackets down on a table and instead would have to pay for coat check.  The hooka's smelled nice but sadly you're stuck in the smokey bars of the past.  I also almost had burning hot coals dropped on me multiple times as they paraded the hookas overhead thru the intensely packed crowd.   And we each paid $5 for the terrible experience... This place is a hot mess.

I have worked on the lights here & have partied here also. The energy & quailty of the drinks, sound, lights & staff are sencond to none in NYC. This spot is run by Fernando & Alberto the owners of ESCANDALO @ el morroco once a month. I can not recomend this place enough.

Went there last night at like 1~ish with my husband. We had so much fun! the security guard at the door gave us a friendly smile and waved us in after quickly checking our IDs. The bartender was very nice. He mistook my asking for a Vodka Cran and a Red Bull, and put Red Bull /in/ the Vodka Cran. The second that I told him that I wanted those two separate, he immediately dumped out the old drink, got me a fresh cup, and re-did the drink. AND both of the drinks together cost $12. That's pretty inexpensive!

The crowd was pretty diverse, which is nice. The music is LOUD. I'm still having a bit of ringing in my ears from it, but there you go. For whatever reason, the DJ had to switch playlists or something, and there was no music for about two minutes. To make up for it, he told the entire crowd that they could get a free tequila shot at the bar. I didn't partake, but the dance floor rapidly made a move for it.

I will definitely be going back. We had such a good time that we didn't even notice how long we spent there!

Having been a resident of Inwood/Washington Heights for the past 8 years I can definitely tell you that NO PARKING is dead. I just heard about this new gay bar and decided to venture out at midnight on a Saturday night to LE BOY which as I walked on Dyckman made me feel safe, it is a very high traffic area with late night restaurants, the always reliable 24/7 McDonalds and god knows what else (I never can understand a barber shop being open past 8pm but anyway).  Its hard to miss the bar as it has a gay flag waving at you above the entrance. Security at the door was respectful and NO COVER!!! (r u listening NO PARKING?), there was a greeter followed by another security guard with a metal detector checking in every person and although caught off guard by it, it was no big deal. Le Boy has a great interior decor, very industrial with metallic panels, lighting system that is simple but very fun, several go go boys and girls(?), the bartenders are friendly and seem to be attentive to everyone in getting them drinks as soon as possible. The music was fun, for the most part is was very upbeat dance, electronic, tribal and from time to time the DJ went into full Latin music mode but not for long. Overall I say LE BOY BAR is off to a good start for its 3rd week since opening. It is a friendly bar and welcomes just not only Latinos but every other ethnicity that makes up this diverse and fast growing neighborhood. NOTE TO MANAGEMENT: P.S. HIRE SOME DIRTY HOT WHITE BOYS TO DANCE ONCE IN A WHILE.

So happy to see the second gay par open in NOHA (north of Harlem).  I have lived up here for 25 years and what has never changed is the diverse community living in somewhat harmony.  The area can be a bit isolating but this is also a benefit.  LE BOY seems to be off to a great start.  The DJs have smartly mixed the music peppered with Latin sounds.  A great creative touch was a drummer walking around to add to the rhythm.  The bartenders are friendly without attitude and this atmosphere seemed to be repeated by the customers.  Hate to bring up and compare to NO PARKING but I have to wonder why that bar sunk into a rut of attitude for no reason and did not reach out to all the community but instead asked us to reach for our wallets at the door with the excuse that it "kept out the riff raff." I think not.

Lets see even more creativity at Le Boy, media events and performances and welcome and open.  This community has too many great people hungry to stay in a great hood for the evening.  200th street is poppin' these days.  Mix it up some more and NO PARKING please use this as an opportunity to expand your horizons, be creative and flourish as well.  This is still New York and neither place needs to turn into a Tacky local bar that could be anywhere in American named "Woody's" or "rainbows"
    Rock on UPTOWN GIRLS!
