For a chain restaurant, we really like Le Peep. Â It's consistent, there is a lot to choose from, the prices are fair, they have a frequent diner card and call ahead seating. I probably eaten at Le Peep over a hundred times and don't remember having a bad meal ever. The iced tea is strong (which I love) and the Sea Mist is my favorite pampered egg dish. We're Le Peep regulars and plan to be for the foreseeable future.
Review Source:I went here for breakfast this past weekend. It seems as if it is very crowded on the weekends. I had to wait 20 minutes for a seat (it seemed as if everyone did though). Super crowded!
It was a nice meal. I just wasn't really WOWed. The food was good, but not something I will remember forever. It's a decent place and not too expensive. I think that maybe next time I will try a different food item and I would be more excited...
We stopped in here for brunch after finding the wait at our first choice of brunch restaurants was so long. We were seated at Le Peep's without any wait at 11am on a Sunday morning. That, in an of itself, is telling. The food and service here were decent, but certainly nothing fantastic. We split the Californian and two-stack order of the Granola Blues pancakes. Everything seemed fresh and the order arrived quickly; however, the flavors were somewhat bland. I would return again as a backup choice, but there are other brunch establishments nearby that provide more interesting and tasty food.
Review Source:This is a popular place for breakfast business meetings, and rightfully so, for the following reasons:
1) The food is pretty good, but not great. Let's be honest - how great can eggs, omelettes, bacon, etc. be?
2) Service is almost instantaneous because they know many of their breakfast clients are there for business meetings. For example, water is on the table before customers get there.
3) Food orders are turned around very quickly - within a few minutes.
You're in and out quickly, the food is good, and the prices are reasonable.
We hit this Sunday after GenCon '11 and i was really suprised how good it was.
The cream of spinach was excellent, and the turkey avocado sandwich was a show stealer. I had an omni omelet which was good, but a little bland. The home fries were great. Clean place, the wait was a bit long but all in all exactly what a brunch should be.
I've been to this Le Peep only on a Sunday - it takes a while to get in as a brunchy kind of place. I do like Le Peep's food, but it's nothing special. The service is just average, and during busy times you can expect sizeable gaps between everyone's plates. Get the breakfast food, of course.
Review Source:Has a great selection of breakfast foods, and for the most part they all hit the mark. The breakfast bowls are probably the best thing on the menu. Some really great pancakes and french toast as well. It can get busy on the weekends, but worth the wait. Very friendly wait staff as well.
