L&L Hawaiin Barbecue Drive In

L&L Drive Thru is a pretty cool concept. Especially if you're in a hurry and have that plate lunch craving but too lazy to get out of the car.

I ordered the double cheese burger deluxe and wasn't impressed. The hamburger patty did seem to be home made with their own spices so that's a plus. However, the spices they put in there left it with a tangy taste. Maybe too much pepper? Wife had the BBQ Mix plate and it definitely didn't taste like the normal BBQ mix plate we're accustomed to at other L&L locations. Maybe we caught it on an off day?

This location is cash only so come prepared.

Not an overall bad experience, just not what I expected from your typical L&L.

Like reviews of other L&L locations, I don't get the bad reviews of this place. We went here twice on a recent trip and both times it was awesome. We had the fish sandwich, fish plate, etc. and all of the dishes we had were awesome. The food came out quick and the service was good. I only wish they took credit card.
