    They are friendlier than some other McDonalds

    I live nearby this McDonald's & have been a regular customer at the drive thru for over 5 years.  The food is ok, typical McDonald's.  But the service has become increasingly bad.  The past year or so they rarely get my order correct.  And they are SLOW!!!!  Recently I was 3rd in line when I ordered & had to wait 15 minutes until I got to the window & even then my order for 1 burger wasn't ready.  The workers have no customer service skills & have no business working in the service industry.  They seem to be more interested in gossiping with each other than doing their job. On my last visit I ordered 1 burger. When I got to the window the girl though I ordered 9 burgers & insisted that I pay for 9 burgers. That was the final straw & the Laie McDonald's will no longer get my business!

    We came here a few times while staying at Turtle Bay and they were so nice! Obviously we tried the taro pies and quickly became obsessed.
