Decent, not great. Â Server was average. Â I ordered the catch of the day and chose a side salad and sweet potato fries to accompany the fist. Â The portion was kind of small for the price although they did give me a hefty portion of fries. Â Calamari was very good for an appetizer. Â The soda's come in small bottles so I have a feeling they don't offer free refills but I didn't ask so I don't know for sure. Â It's got that surver-dude feel t it with a way ladiback vibe; however, the restaurant was empty whch usually isn't a good sign. Â It was a Monday night so maybe the lack of customers (and the rain) had to do with that. Â Average all the way around.
Review Source:I've been there several times and each time it's really been a hit or miss with the food. Â The 1st time, I ordered the lobster mac & cheese and it really tasted good. Â The 2nd time, I decided to try the flatbread appetizer and was very disappointed. Â The sauce almost tasted like ketchup. Â As far as the atmosphere though - love the surf movies being shown and the boards displayed overhead. Â Service again is up and down. Â Last Friday our server was great. Â She was prompt and efficient. The bartender however was so busy talking with others that by the time we got served, we missed the happy hour special! Â I will visit again but this time I will make sure to order from the drink menu well before HH ends.
Review Source:Trendy spot with a nice CA surfer feel to it. Â Attentive service. Â It all falls apart with the food though. Â The flatbread looked and tasted like a cheap frozen pizza not worthy of a lunchbox. The mahi tacos had no flavor or kick to them. This was the second mediocre dining experience here. Â May go back for drinks but never again for food.
