I loved my experience here. There's such a diverse crowd! Cowboys, older people, young people, people singing rap songs, etc. I had a very fun night here. Everyone was so friendly. I got a margarita for $5.25. Man, was it strong but so delicious. They had Stella on special for $3.25! Great atmosphere and fun karaoke. Can't wait to go back!

Louie's is a nice place to go to have a drink and play a game of pool. The bar is very clean and the customers are always very friendly.

Louie's is a great friendly bar.  Bathrooms are clean and the drinks are cheap.  Nothing pretentious about it.  They also have live music on Friday's which is great because not very many places for live music in the area.

So I will just say now that Louie's isn't in the nicest of areas, but it really isn't that big of a deal.  I have only been there one other time about a year ago and I don't remember anything about it.  SOOOO lets say this was my first time just for shits and giggles.  I rolled over here Friday after work for some happy hour.  This place is way different on the inside then you would imagine.  Pretty nice place.  Lots of older "local" lookin people.  Happy Hour was .50 off Beers, Coors Light only cost $2.50 after the discount.  They had shots on special for $2, so my buddy and I did one for the fun of it.  So I am sitting there and I realize they have so many games around that I like.  Darts, pool, Golden Tee, tons of dice behind the bar and I brought a deck of cards.  Seriously, I realized I was in Bar Heaven.  So we played everything they had in the place.  Had lots of fun and I will for sure go back for some happy hour.  Might even have to hit up the karaoke one Saturday night when I stay local because MAN they have a stage to sing on.  Good place.

Good ol' Louie's the neighborhood watering hole. I've actually only been there a handful of times, but it was always cool. It's not necessarily a dive, it's somewhere in a grey area. The crowd can be wierd, but just start shootin the shit with 'em and they seem less wierd. It's usually the same handful of guys in there. Bartenders are cool and friendly, a good pour. It's nothin to go out your way for, but if you're in the area or gettin thirsty on the light rail, hit it up.

Good karaoke, clean interior, reasonable drink prices, close to light rail.  Exterior doesn't tell anything about the interior.

Have only been there a few times but I like the live music.  Not many places in the area that do live music so that alone makes it a pretty cool place to get a drink.

The area is the only think that makes this place un appealing.  It is near freeway access but the neighborhood surrounding it does give me the creeps.

I added this bar  on the 2nd Lightrail Pubcrawl  as "drink stop" from Downtown to Folsom. And i was pleasantly surprised. It was clean with pool tables ,jukebox  and  stage were they have bands play. And the bartenderess was happy for  my intrepid  group of drinkers  to provide some business at the bar.

From the exterior of this place, one would expect Louie's  to be a dirty little place filled with sketchy characters.  It is located in an industrial warehouse park right next to a furniture place off of Mather Field Road.  However, It is a surprisingly clean and enjoyable bar with pool tables and a separate room with a stage for live music and karaoke.

I scouted this place out as a potential Sacramento Dive Bar Connoisseurs venue, but have thus far been unable to lobby the gang successfully.  Fortunately, this location was been included on the itinerary for the Light Rail Pub Crawl 2 coming in January 2007 (Louie's is within walking distance of the Mather/Mills Station light rail stop).

Karaoke night is on Thursdays, and the fact that you get to perform on an actual stage is a treat.  Performers are encouraged to submit two songs per slip, and the KJ is very conscientious about including you in the rotation fairly.  I love the hillbilly, pool bar ambience here, especially amongst the seasoned regular karaoke performers who will "work the room" from their cordless mic, circumnavigating the entire bar.

Fun karaoke and cold beer in beautiful industrial Rancho Cordova!  Any takers?
